I’m wishing Allure did a little more actual makeup recently. I do love getting all the face masks and skin care but I’m feeling inundated with vitamin c creams and eye gels. I’m really hoping I get the purlesse cleanser. I already have the other possible product from allure previously. I am 100% digging the change up with the nail stickers. I am most looking forward to this product in this months box.

I absolutely love this box!!

IF you want the July box from Amazon, sign up now. They are not taking orders for June any longer on Amazon.

Just a friendly head’s up. ( I thought I’d cancel one subscription from Allure, thought better of it, and had a July box shown to me as what I would be starting with).

Alison

It’s still showing the May box on the Amazon page.

I’m so excited to get the June box – May was amazing, and July looks great too. What a great sub box, might order a gift sub for my daughter. Just LOVE the Allure box. so glad I re-subscribed.

♡ the Allure May box 🙂 I subscribed to try new skin care products & they are sticking up to what they say!
P.S: Hope I get the vitamin C.

Allure and BeautyFix are the primary boxes that have a good amount of skincare, which works well for people who are not makeup junkies. Offering more skincare, which also translates to self-care, when a lot of us are stuck at home and have to wear masks when we could getting out of the house, is totally appropriate given the unusual time. It’s also nice that Allure doesn’t have crazy amount of variations, so there’s a high level of confidence of getting what you are hoping for.

I just recently re-subbed for May because of the full-size SkinInc serum and this June box is looking even better. I’m glad I decided to give Allure another try.

Christina

Same!

I might resub for June. I’m really liking the nail strips, the Vitamin C serum, and the lip oil. The oil mask and the eye masks are pluses for me. I always love receiving those and are great last minute gifts to people.

I just received my third box. Does anyone know if they only send cleansers and moisturizers etc every month? I don t like switching up my face routine! I was kinda hoping for more eye, lips, blushes..

Stephanie L.

Natasha – Definitely try Ipsy and Boxycharm if you prefer makeup over skincare. Allure, BeautyFix, and Test Tube all tend to be more skincare heavy while Ipsy and Boxycharm are more makeup heavy. Ipsy has a decent profile system, so you’ll end up with more of the stuff you want, especially if you enjoy eye, lips, blushes, etc. Most of us who complain about Ipsy not matching with profile complain about getting too much eyeshadow, lip gloss, blushes, highlighters, mascara, eyeliners….which seem to be products you are looking for. If you don’t end up with the specific item you were hoping to get in your box, there’s a high probability that you can pay a reduce price ($3 Travel/$12 to $18 Full Size) to get it. Boxycharm will show a bunch of product variations and there’s a high probability that you won’t end up getting what you are hoping for, nor do you have the opportunity to pay extra to get it at a reduced price, which is totally annoying. I also find that Ipsy tend to feature more mainstream established brands that are also sold at Sephora & Ulta. And Boxycharm will feature some brands nobody’s ever heard of with very inflated retail price that’s sold dirt cheap on Alibaba.

Teri

Ooh, the Boxy shade 🤣 lol, I totally agree tho

Dawna

Have you tried Ipsy?

Reply ButtonReply

Maggie

Nothing really perking up my interest. I got to say though… this months (May) allure box was better than BOTH my boxycharm regular & premium boxes! Come on boxy… do better.

Reply ButtonReply

kimhuston

Yes Maggie. I really like May’s Allure box.

Does anyone know if you are gifted a 3 month subscription if you can skip a month? I don’t particularly want this month

Reply ButtonReply

Paige

Yes you can! I just called customer service and it was literally a 2 minute process. The rep was so helpful. The number is 800-274-1603 x

Thanks so much! 🙂

Rachelle

I’m very interested in the nail strips so if you don’t want them put them up for swap and I’ll follow them until swap reopens.

Reply ButtonReply

Jules

I would totally swap my nail guys for vitamin c serum! I got the mask instead. But regardless, I will not use the nail deals so I’m glad to swap them out.

Reply ButtonReply

Kara

I definitely won’t use my nail strips, so I would be more than happy to swap mine when my box arrives. 😊

Reply ButtonReply

Rachelle

I check every day for a swap listing of the nail strips. Once you put it up I will get in touch to see if you have any interest for when swapping returns. Thank you.

Dawna

I actually kinda like this box, but I’m so overloaded with skincare right now… Plus, I would have to go stand in line for about a half an hour , if not longer, just to pick it up from the post office.

Judith Acosta

Can i use those nail strips on my gel nails?

Reply ButtonReply

Margaret

YES, but they go on best on natural nails!
These gel strips wear just like a salon gel manicure, lasting 14 days.
The best part is no soak-off with acetone.

Reply ButtonReply

missann

I can’t use any serums. I don’t like any belif products and the lip color doesn’t work for me so imma pass.

Reply ButtonReply

LA

the lip isn’t really a ‘color it’s a tinted lip oil. It’s a super moisturizing/oily gloss with a slight tint

Reply ButtonReply

Teri

Ya, it barely has any color at all, just makes you lips look a bit more healthy. I love it tho

Shay

If I get those frikking eye masks instead of the serum…

Reply ButtonReply

Jazzy

Loving this box!

Reply ButtonReply

Patsy

Loving that Purlisse Watermelon product, the scent is so delicious. Looks like a great box. My granddaughter and her mom will like playing with the nail stickers. Get mine thru Amazon so I hope the Eye Mask is our option.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauralee

Do you have to subscribe to get it through Amazon, or can you buy one box at a time?

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie L.

Going through Amazon is definitely easier, it’s the only way you can easily pause without having to get customer service on the phone.

Jacki

You can also skip through Amazon

Lisa

You can cancel after one box it is really easy through Amazon but if you don’t cancel they will bill you monthly.

Pink5

I’m impressed that half the items are full size.

The eye mask sounds very luxe, but I have a bunch I haven’t used yet.

We’ll see, I guess.

Crystal

I’m most excited about the Yensa lip oil!!

Reply ButtonReply

Pooja

Okay.. I see alot of people excited for Yensa lip oil. Now I am curious why is it good? Does it help with chapped dry lips?

Reply ButtonReply

Teri

I love it! I got it in an Ipsy plus and already got a backup with my points. It makes my lips very soft and supple. You need to apply it a bit more often than a balm, but I don’t mind

Pooja

Purelisse cleanser has all skin types written on it so may be it works for dry skin as well. I just opened my last cleanser today so all I have now are exfoliators and cleansing oils so this cleanser is one of the reason I would take this box. Another reason was lip oil which didn’t seem to be effective product. There nail n stickers would be my first ever, I don’t know how I feel about them.
July is good too and that also had a charcoo sheet mask, I have tried charcoal mask once before but it didn’t do anything for me.

Tara W

The Yensa oil from Ipsy dried out my lips as well. Allure is a great sub and definitely a great value for the money. But, I don’t want the lip oil or the nail stickers. And I’m guessing a charcoal cleanser is meant more for oily skin rather than dry. So I’m probably going to skip June but I’ll be back for July!

Pooja Bajaj

That’s not good Ellen. Suddenly my lips are extra dry and chapped and I am trying to look for something to help with that. Maybe this oil is not the solution I was looking for.

With new MSA site update, you can’t respond being 2 levels. 🙄

Ellen

It dried my lips out. I think I might have had a bit of an allergic reaction, too, because it made my lips burn and itch.

Pink5

I got one of those in an Ipsy bag a while back.

I was kind of underwhelmed.

I hope you will enjoy yours.

Reply ButtonReply

Marion

I’d consider it, but I already have the Yensa lip oil from Ipsy in my backlog of product waiting to be used.

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

Definitely getting it!

Reply ButtonReply

disneyjoy1970

Both June and July’s boxes look GREAT. Starskin, Belif and Purlisse in the same box (June’s box)… YES, please! The Peach & Lilly serum and the Lip & Cheek balm in July’s box are intriguing me. Great job, Allure! I’ve been subscribed for about five years now. The last two years have been amazing. There are some months that don’t wow me, but for the most part- they’re in it to win it.

Reply ButtonReply

pam

How do you know what’s going to be on July’s box already? I can’t seem to find any info on that yet!

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

MSA posted full spoilers for July on 5/12

Pooja

Allure has really been good from few months. I want to grab all the boxes while they are skincare heavy

Reply ButtonReply

Linda

July looks better than June for me, so I’ll wait for July (even calendared it, lol).

Reply ButtonReply

SBR

I am calling Allure to pause for June as soon as I get my May box. They usually ask for one month or until I call back. I will definitely be checking my account to make sure I get July🤪

Reply ButtonReply

Jeana

This looks amazing! I can hardly wait!
