I do not like glow recipe anything. Nothing I have tried by this brand has been good for my skin. Sadly, boxy only sends me skincare and hair gunk I dont/can’t use.
I was sooo looking forward to jouer to try. I have a blush pallette from them and absolutely love it. But I do not live near a Sephora or store that sells “high end” makeup so I use sub boxes to try them out and if they work for me and I like the formula, I will buy more stuff from the brand online at Sephora.
So its frustrating that boxy shows all this stuff and then you get junk, or the items you can’t use.
I also were hoping if they are having issues they should be transparent, but it seems they always have great things for the pop up sales just fine, but the boxes are sub par and they should use stuff from the pop up in it.

Have you update the quiz,lately? I used to get a lot of skincare but I kept updating the makeup quiz. Now, I get majority makeup, I still get a few skincare items but it’s usually something that I wanna try.. so, go redo the makeup quiz..💜hope it helps

Y’all……the picks for premium next month. I thought maybe they were playing a late April fool’s joke on me?? $12 products and some we have already gotten. Is this a joke …. like. Idk. Not to mention the box for May,mine was very fillerish …like the $90 brushed and the $12 lip balm and teeny tiny milk makeup product. Idk….has cancellation written all over it!

Milk lip/cheek thing from may box in color halo, zoeva eye primer, set of lashes, KVD vegan bullet lippie in vampire or neutral tones, and Nars liquid lip in 3 different shades pink/red/ and what looks like coral. Not too exciting, was hoping to pick the TF contour palette so I wouldn’t end up with the farmacy (i got the cherry one before, i don’t need green clean).

Wow…Pretty sad selection of June choice items – The Milk makeup lip oil is a repeat from this month and we received the Nars lippie a couple of boxes ago – other than that KVD lipstick and false lashes !?!? What the heck is going on ? Again, if this is Covid related they need to be transparent and go in a different direction for now. That is what other businesses are doing. Im sure they qualify for the bail out money – so its not like they are gonna go out of business. Just seems greedy to me and this month was a total bait and switch – the box was worth less than $100 – I dont care how much they say the brushes were worth -we all know that is BS

Yeah… I was annoyed they threw in that milk from may box as an item for choice. I ended up going back and forth between the primer, lashes, and the nars lippie. I ended up picking nars because I don’t really wear lashes and I got the pretty vulgar primer in May box.

it is 12:50 EST on 14MAY and the premium choice still isn’t up. i don’t understand how they get by without having precise times in place for their clients. Even the popup was just randomly opened with no email or instagram post (ig post much later). What is up with them?

The choices all looked good though and that mask, even if I somehow miss it I will stay on for it, but as Beth said, we don’t have all day waiting around for them to open >.< in fact when typing in boxycharm.com/choice base box choice was showing up until like 10min after 9 pst then finally saying it's no longer open. I guess they either got behind and went oops or they just decided to start opening premium choice later.

I got this in one of my boxes about six months ago.
Before you get excited, make sure you read the very long list of ingredients. I didn’t and subsequently, I broke out in hives. It happens to have lavender in it and I’m allergic to that.

I signed back up in the past when they had the Pink Glow Recipe, I never received it then or since. Boxycharm is pretty good at sucking you in with spoilers that you MAY receive.
Not falling for that again. It is like seeing a prize in a claw game, that you just never quite can grab.

Omgoodness, 🤣 I died laughing when I read that because that is so true! It is like the claw machine!!! they will have an amazing product that is shown, and then I always get the other variation whether it be a mascara or something similar. Sometimes it can be so deflating 🙂

I am seconding the objection to the Kat von D. I got TWO KVD black liquid eyeliners in ONE month and they insisted that in spite of the fact that there was no real difference, that they were in fact completely different and I should be grateful. There are reasons I am no longer a subscriber. Good ones.

This is a very creamy sleeping mask, as is the eye version. The eye version is less creamy, actually. I bought it the day that it was released and have enjoyed using it, but it feels kind of heavy in the summer. That’s just a personal thing since I live in the middle of a humid city.

You won’t be able to receive the Luxe box if you cancel the base box. 🙁

Yes!!! I was going to cancel Premium after spending far too much at the pop-up sale but now I can’t. This product alone makes it worth my $35. So glad we’re all getting it. Bad news for my wallet but good news for my addiction!

I hope that choice has another good product to offer… I thought boxycharm was doing another take over box with Jouer in june.. hopefully its in July… glow recipe is not a good product for my skin if I get it I will gift it to someone.
