Finally received my April earrings. I have a tracking number for May or June with no movement. I assume May will ship soon since they are starting to arrive

I just received the May box (I think) and the booklet shows April and May. My box only had the May necklace and not the APril earrings. THeir shipping takes ever so long-even before Covid-19 disrupted everything. That is my chief complaint.

I received my April box today, but I thought it would be combined with my May box. Did anyone else receive just the earrings without the necklace, or did you receive both together? I haven’t gotten a shipping notice for the May necklace yet.

I ordered the March box, and April before learning about the AliExpress concerns.. Every time I reach out to them they say it will be shipped beginning of April then, beginning of May. Now when I login into my account I do not even see the orders, but thankful I have PayPal transactions and I will open a case. Definitely do not recommend..

They’re having a sale at their site through Monday, 5/18, in case anyone is interested!

I had this subscription for a few months, and I was super unimpressed with the pieces I received. Now that I’m reading there’s an AliExpress connection it all makes sense.

Oh no! Where did you read they were getting their pieces from aliexpress? I just subscribed last week 🙁

Same! I had watched it for several months and finally subscribed. I think I lasted 2, maybe 3 months before canceling. Wasn’t impressed at all.

These are from Aliexpress for less than a dollar. Wow.

I canceled my subscription when I realized that the jewelry is made in China. I can go to AliExpress for cheap Chinese jewelry. (Not that there is anything wrong with cheap Chinese jewelry).

Are you serious?!? This is upsetting to read! This jewelry is supposed to be made in France! I’ve subbed off and on for a few years and I had really good pieces and also several pieces that broke easily. Imagine the working conditions, wages, and materials used if they can truly be bought for a dollar! “Let’s put this in a pretty box and sell to dumb Americans at a 3000% markup and tell them it’s French!” 🤦🏻♀️

So I sent them an email and this was the reply:
Our jewelry is designed in Paris, then sent into production in Asia (mostly in India and Vietnam) and later sent back in France to apply the gold or silver plating, or to manually paint the white enamel (in the case of the Sakura collection).

From the Emma & Chloe blog (I tried posting the link earlier, but it didn’t go through)
“Most of our jewelry is handmade in our France or China-based atelier. The many designers that Emma & Chloe work with select jewels, stones and metals on their travels. Artisans use special tools to cut, pound, cast and fuse the materials together to into one-of-a-kind pieces. “

This is a line from one of E&C’s blog posts: “Most of our jewelry is handmade in our France or China-based atelier.” Yeah, that seems a little sketch.

This would be very disappointing if it’s true. It seems unlikely that E&C are now sourcing their jewelry from China. Perhaps the ones on Aliexpress are knockoffs? I have purchased several pieces in the past from E&C which came with certificates of authenticity as being handmade in France. The quality and workmanship were pretty evident in the pieces I received.

Oh I love those!! Too bad it would be May’s box if I ordered now, but I think they’re one of the subs who sell past box pieces and I would love those!

These will go with everything!

Those are very pretty…….what a unique shape. I wish though, they would have kept it as a solid gold tone, silver tone etc without the white enamel.

I agree, it cheapens them. Too bad, because they’re so original.
