I selected the Murad. That’s more than the bag’s value right there. Everything else will be a nice surprise. I’m donating the bags for all three tiers this time. I wouldn’t enjoy looking at them long term. Someone else will, though!

This sunscreen is awesome and smells like oranges! i’m wearing it today. Glides on so easily. Not like the ones you have to rub in to make the whiteness disappear.

Like others I’m completely underwhelmed by the choices. Add in that I STILL haven’t received my May gbp nor my gb…making my decision to skip quite easy. I have been with Ipsy from the beginning with all levels & this will be my first time skipping ever. Hopefully this will help send Ipsy a powerful message, but I’m not holding my breath.

Is it possible that Ipsy is having supply issues due to the coronavirus?
I find all of June’s possible selections to be lacking in all 3 size bags, and usually if Plus is sparse, then Ultimate truly shines or vice versa.
I did the best I could with what they offered. I HOPE the other items in the boxes will be SUPER because I find the choices to be really dismal.
I chose the Dr. Brandt No More Pores luminizing primer- now someone with sensitive skin below says it hurts. I have sensitive mature skin ( I’m in my 60’s).
I hope it works OK for me. I’ve never had a bad reaction with a Dr. Brandt product…

The sensitive person was me— but my skin is REALLY sensitive!! If yours isn’t don’t worry too much. I really can’t wash my face more than once a day (according to my dermatologist), I can’t use toner or powder and I get bad reactions from maybe 75% of products. You are prob fine.

I love the Dr. B luminizing primer, I love it and have even purchased it outright on my own. I mix it 50/50 with whatever foundation I want to use plus a drop of oil and I think my skin looks very pretty and radiant with that custom mix. I wouldn’t say I have sensitive skin outright but I do have dry skin which can be reactive and I haven’t had any issues with it so here’s hoping it will work for you.

Picked the Murad because with summer coming I know I will use it. Very, very sad to see such constant negativity here. Why not just move along if $50 is too much for you to gamble on a beauty box? Why the constant ruining it for everyone else? I just don’t get it….anyway, I get all three bags and am usually pretty content because anything I cannot or will not use (because I am vegan) I can pass along to someone who is quite happy to receive and for that, I feel pretty good……life is too short to be so upset about a beauty box…..

Agree with you 100% – I don’t understand the constant complaining LITERALLY every single month about IPSY at all levels. It seems as if each IPSY member expects to receive their HG products in each bag each month, and they’re disappointed and angry that they didn’t receive things from their list of favorite skincare products. That’s not how it works, nor is it what anyone should expect. It’s about sampling different things that you DON’T have in your skincare arsenal and probably some things you have never even heard of. Not “I don’t want to buy that expensive eyeshadow pallette at Sephora so I should expect to receive it in my IPSY Plus bag instead.”
I really don’t get it.

Agree with you 100%!! There’s a lot of negativity that overshadows the benefits and value of subscription boxes. IMHO, Ipsy is still a better option than Boxycharm/Sephora Play (already discontinued) in terms of aligning to profile preferences and offering more established brands, not to mention the convenience of pausing when you are not into the product offering or having product overload.

I just don’t understand why Ipsy can’t deliver a decent array of items on all levels. It always seems that one is favoured, one is okay, and one is awful. This month? For My regular glam bag I chose a FS Ofra highlighter. Then you look at the Ultimate choices…yeesh.
Glad it’s easy to skip at least 🤷♀️

I picked the brush set only to find it on sale with the Violet Voss berry palette for $20. I went ahead and bought that and I’m skipping Ultimate this month. Plus looks much more appealing anyway. Seems to have more newer products, at least to me. I don’t know why they keep using Ultimate to get rid of overstock when it’s the highest tier/most expensive subscription they offer. I’m glad it’s easy to skip because it’s only worth it to me every few months. I usually only find that either Plus or Ultimate looks promising but almost never both in the same month.

Just a heads up to those with sensitive skin. I have eczema and tried the Dr. Brandt primer in another bag and couldn’t keep it on for more than maybe 20 minutes– it started to hurt. So I would opt out of that if your skin is sensitive in any way.

I already have 2 of the murad moisturizers. The Biorace clay mask has an RV of $4. Wow. I have the Dr. Brandt primer and I love it but a little goes a long way and I have quite a bit before it’s gone. I skipped this month.

Same here! It seems like everytime I choose to skip a bag, I regret it. Hmmmm
….. wonder if its some kind of technique they use on us to keep us from skipping in the future (spoilers + self selection look like garbage you don’t need anymore of *looking at you liquid liner, highlighter, and bronzer*)
