Say It With a Sock 2-Pair "Patterned" Review - March 2020
I've noticed something cool on my Say It With a Sock packaging this year - it simply says, "Medium," and didn't specify a gender for the package, like it has in the past! I really like this change, and when I visit the SIWAS website, the messaging is much the same, breaking the options down by size, but also mentioning in parentheses that Large is suggested for men, and Medium is suggested for Women, to help many find their fit. I really like that they did away with gender labels and made this sub accessible and friendly for all folks.
The socks arrive with a card to give you some explanation of the goodies, and also keeps the socks nice and flat in the mailer so that they don't get rumpled.

Patterned Socks
We'll start with the patterned pair in this box, and even though they aren't as graphic as their companions (more on those in a moment), they're certainly far from boring! I work with a LOT of code during my day job, and the bright orange lines against the black background really remind me of the things I see on the screen all day long. I like that these are really dynamic in their pattern, and just pop against the bold blue heels and toes. I think these would look awesome with a fun retro tee shirt, hoodie, and high top sneaks.

Popcorn Socks
I'm nothing, lovely readers, if not honest, and I must admit, at first I was a little bummed when I saw these in my envelope! As many of you sharp-eyed subscription-lovers may recall, I reviewed the men's pair of this pattern back in July 2019. However, this pair means I can wear them now, too, and I have to say, they look just as good, if not better, in the medium's shorter length! I'm all about really fun, themed outfits, and I have white chunky sandals and denim overall shorts that are actually begging to be paired with these. I'm glad I turned around a positive outlook on these, because they really are so fun. I also really love movies, so they feel very true to my personality.
Verdict: Say It With a Sock came through for me this month, bringing some cheer when things have been pretty ho-hum during quarantine! Since I live in Pennsylvania, and for some reason, it is absolutely always cold where I live, I see absolutely no end to wearing socks in my basement, making these endlessly useful for me. I love the little bit of stretch, and I feel like I should mention here that these socks wash up so well. I've been doing a lot of laundry lately, and these colors stay nice and vibrant every trip through the washer and dryer. While initially I was a li'l disappointed to see a pattern I'd already encountered before, ultimately I was psyched to have a popcorn pair in my own size - even though I highly doubt my husband and I will ever coordinate to wear these on the same day!
