Kale + Vitamin B Fresh Pressed Sheet Mask by Sweet Chef – Listed Value $3.99 (found here for $3.59)
This mask was so cute with a fun little drawing of kale and sunglasses on the front of it. It was packed with a cream serum filled with vitamins B, C, E, K, aloe, and rich in antioxidants. The mask itself was sort of tricky to place on my face but once I moved it around a bit it stayed on nicely without sliding. I used it in the evening before bed, leaving the mask on for about 20 minutes, and then rubbed any excess serum in before heading off to sleep. I can't say that I noticed a huge difference in my skin after use though, but I could see this being a great product to use as a refresh for extra hydration especially during the summer months.

Let me start by saying that I really appreciate receiving a book like this and the very thoughtful description that is included for it in this month's booklet. One portion of the description that stood out to me is, "Loving yourself can feel like a long journey - but you're not alone. A pilgrimage for anyone who has ever lost their way or anyone looking to start a compassionate and loving journey to reclaim their authentic self, our custom-designed More Self Love Journal is rooted in prompts and practices proven to build self-esteem and reduce self-doubt."
We are all in a strange place in time right now, trying to find our way and just make it through with kindness and compassion. For me personally, because I am at home with my two young children, finding time for myself is always a struggle but more so now than ever. There is no "me time" and sometimes that can bring on a lot of criticism and self-doubt and just fatigue. This book is designed so sweetly to carve out that time for yourself, to help you get your thoughts out there, to organize your mind and your day, and to just give yourself a general check-in. I set this on my nightstand and have been using it at the end of the day. I have only used it a few times so far, but I am loving this little time for myself. What a wonderful item and something I am sure to cherish once this strange time has passed.

More self-care products, I love it! Like I said before, finding time for myself right now is a challenge more than ever, but receiving an item like this basically forces me to say, "no, you deserve this time to soak in the bath!" This pure salt blend smells of sandalwood and sage, some of my favorite scents for their natural calming and healing qualities. This soak left me feeling relaxed and my skin silky smooth. I love that the bag is so big because this will provide many baths and better yet, comes in an easy resealable bag to keep everything fresh!

Aromatic Mint CBD Lip Salve by My CBD Lab – Retail Value $10
I am always purchasing new lip balms, especially since I love wearing lipstick so I need to keep my lips moisturized at all times. But boy, am I obsessed with this lip salve! Not only does it smell amazing, but it provides such intense and thick moisture to my lips that last for hours. Plus, the mint smell and sensation is amazing! This salve is made with organic beeswax, organic coconut oil, THC-free hemp extract powder (acquired from hemp), and organic peppermint oil. So fresh, so amazing!

Brilliant Black Organic Charcoal Toothpaste by Terra & Co., 4 oz. – Retail Value $25
I am always so interested and eager to try organic products in hopes of switching to cleaner and environmentally friendly brands. So I really, really wanted to like this toothpaste, but there were a few things that I just couldn't get past. One thing, the toothpaste is basically black, which I expected since it is made with charcoal, but just looking at myself in the mirror made me feel a little yucky. While my teeth and gums felt so super clean, I didn't have that fresh breath feeling and I noticed some bad breath shortly after using each time I used it. The brand itself sounds amazing though! Women-owned, vegan, cruelty-free, and made in the US. The toothpaste itself is fluoride-free, made with organic charcoal, tea tree oil, and xylitol which strengthens your teeth and helps prevent cavities. While this won't be my new go-to toothpaste, I really enjoyed trying it a few times and learning more about this wonderful brand!

Lemon Superfood All-In-One Rescue Butter by Dr. Botanicals, 1.69 fl oz. – Retail Value $16.99
This rescue butter can really do it all! You can use this either as a moisturizer, as a cleanser, or as a treatment for moisturization. To use as a cleanser, simply apply all over your face, wipe away with a cotton pad or cloth, and then rinse with water. To use as a treatment, simply apply a generous amount to any irritated areas like lips, elbows, feet, or hands to provide an intense moisturization. This 95% natural formula butter is made with lemongrass oil, coconut oil, almond oil, and so much more! I love the light lemon scent that is clean and fresh without being an overpowering citrus smell. I have been using this on my hands and feet night and day because well, I am really, really dry right now. I can't say that I am noticing a huge difference in my skin just yet, but again I am just so beyond dry it is pretty bad. For now though, this will hopefully do the trick to get my skin back into shape!

Birthday Cake Lip Scrub by Aminnah Skincare, 2 oz. – Retail Value $14.99
I love Aminnah Skincare products because they are just so cute to look at it but they also really work! This lip scrub is birthday party-ready and tastes like cake. So delicious! Best of all, it really works to help heal my lips. Like I said before, I love wearing lipstick so it is very important to keep my lips smooth and hydrated always. The blend of sugar and essential oils is helping to remove dead skin while tightening and providing some intense hydration. Honestly, this worked so well on my lips that I decided to apply some to my hands because again, they are so gross and dry right now. I can safely say that it worked really well on my hands as well so this can be a multi-use scrub if you ask me!

Calming Chamomile Mask by Flower Mill, 2 oz. – Retail Value $42
This mask is made with chamomile which has anti-inflammatory properties while soothing any irritation your skin might be having, as the white kaolin clay and calendula flowers hydrate and strengthen your skin and pores. This mask is perfect for sensitive skin, which I happen to have, so that is a big bonus for me. Mixing the mask was super easy: just add about a nickel size of the powder to a bowl and add water until you get the consistency you desire. I went a little thicker for the first time, but I have used this mask a few more times and have changed it up a bit going from thick to runnier. I kept the mask on until it was completely dry, rinsed with warm water, and then applied my nightly moisturizer and oils. The directions do note that the appearance of slight redness is normal about 30 to 50 minutes after you have removed the mask, this is due to the boost in blood circulation. My skin is looking really great after using this mask a few times: brighter, smoother, and just an overall healthy glow. Plus it is really helping to clear some breakouts that I have been having (hello stress) and dry spots.

This wellness tea box is so beautiful and was a delightful surprise to receive this month! The box itself feels like opening a special gift and comes with an extremely detailed magazine on all of the tea boxes you can purchase from Your Tea. The Wellness Box, which I received, comes with Happy Tea, Antioxidant Tea, Sleepy Tea, and Energy Tea. I love that the tea already comes in a tea bag so it is ready to go! So far I have tried the Antioxidant and Energy teas and have loved both. All blends in this box are on the darker side so nothing too sweet, but I did add some fresh lemon to one to give it a little sweetness, or you could add honey as well if you like! The antioxidant blend really helped me with some bloating that I was experiencing so I can say that drinking the blend helped me personally. I can't say enough about this little box of tea, it truly made me happy, and it has been wonderful to have in our pantry for my husband and me to share.
The Verdict: This month's TheraBox was incredible! This box was in celebration of their 3rd birthday and they pulled out some amazing products for it! It truly felt like I was opening a gift this month, and I was blown away by the Wellness Tea box which felt almost like an added bonus item. Everything felt high-quality and focused on taking time to love and care for yourself, which we all need right now. I have used and loved pretty much all of the products this month and have learned about some amazing brands! For me, the journal and tea box really tugged at my heart this month, but the mask, bath soak, and lip salve were also favorites. This month's estimated retail value is $165.91 making this box an awesome deal considering the $39.98 price ($34.99 + $4.99 shipping). A wonderful curation that was beautifully and thoughtfully put together, leaving me eager to receive my next box!
