That Is So Fetch Cake in a Jar - Listed Value $16.50
This isn’t my first time trying the Cake in a Jar formula, but I’m really happy to see it again. It has layers of whipped soap (frosting) and sugar scrub (cake), and when applied it's like a more scrubby version of this brand's classic body frosting. The scent is a mix of crushed Madagascar vanilla, cotton candy, juicy pear, and sugared lemon, and it is a very sweet scent to my nose that has me craving a cupcake.
Yasss Hunny Whipped Meringue Body Butter, 4 oz - Listed Value $9.50
Yasss Hunny is a fan-favorite scent- a peek through the AU Sugar Sugar Facebook page over the years shows a definite love for this scent of orange creamsicle, birthday cake, and marshmallow. I’m a big fan of the whipped meringue body butter formula- my legs love to be very dry, and this does a great job of nourishing my skin and leaving them soft. It can take a moment for this to fully sink in, but the long-lasting moisture it provides makes it worth it to me.

Girl, Wash Your Face Coconut Milk Face Wash, 4.6 oz - Listed Value $12
This cleanser is made with organic and fair-trade coconut milk, aloe vera, witch hazel, and chamomile extract, and as a result, it makes for a gentle cleanse that doesn’t dry my skin out. I appreciate that this isn’t overly scented, and a little bit of this cleanser goes a long way.
Party Time Hair Detangler, 4 oz - Listed Value $9
First and foremost, this smells just like fresh from the oven sugar cookies! That would make sense considering the scent notes are juicy bubblegum and warm baked sugar cookies. I am completely fine with my hair smelling like dessert, but after a few moments, the scent does fade so it’s not overpowering. It takes a lot to keep my curls tangle-free (read: a lot more than this spray can do on its own), but I liked the softness of my hair when I used this in addition to my regular leave-in conditioner. This didn’t add any extra weight to my hair, either.
The Verdict: I really liked this month's box! The Cake in a Jar is a body product that I’m always happy to have more of, and the remaining three items were all useful and smelled great. By the listed values, this box adds up to $47, which is a little more than the cost of the box plus shipping. If you sign up hoping for an amazing deal, you probably won’t be happy, but if you’re looking for well-curated bath and body products in unique scents, with creative packaging, and a great mission, I think this is worth checking out.
