Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!
The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co May 2020 Review
That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month got an update! Now it comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, though, I must say!
Enclosed is a truly heartfelt message from my stylist, Kristin S. I truly hope all the best for you and your loved ones, Kristin! In my feedback on my April Dia & Co box, I requested some loungewear since I am working at home for both of my jobs during the current situation and a cute summer dress that would be comfortable for quarantine during warmer months. I am excited to see the pieces that Kristin sent my way!
The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $260. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $180! The savings would be $80 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That is like keeping the Molly&Isadora dress for free! What a deal!
August Tie Front Woven Dress with Elastic Waist by Molly&Isadora, Size 20 — Retail Value $65
I am a sucker for anything in orange or mustard yellow, so I had to add this to my style box! This dress is perfect for summer weather. Just looking at it makes me want to walk into a field of high grass and wildflowers! The material is incredibly light and ideal for warm summer days. The woven fabric has limited stretch, but the elastic at the waist adds definition and comfort. I opted to style this piece with monochromatic pieces like my oversized yellow Zenni Optical glasses, orange and yellow flower power earrings I got from retrochic_by_annelise on Instagram, and some retro orange jelly flats. Pair this with sneakers and a jean jacket on those cooler summer evenings as well for an effortlessly precious ensemble! The beauty of this piece also is that it can easily translate as a cute fall look as well. I imagine this looking absolutely stunning with a burgundy or maroon cardigan, black tights, and cute tan ankle booties.
Daisy Floral Lace Top by Rafaella, Size 2x — Retail Value $69
I must admit, it truly was love at first sight when I laid my eyes on this beautiful top! It is summer, and I want all the retro daisies and flowers. I have quite a few crochet-style tops, so I couldn't resist this one either! This crochet top has a daisy floral overlay with a stretch white underlay for comfort and coverage. I appreciate this so that I don't have to seek out a tank top to wear underneath. (I literally own zero spaghetti strap tanks-- muscle tanks I have in droves!) This piece is a bit snug across my hips and behind, but fits otherwise. I tend to prefer tops that end at my waist, so I prefer how this top looks tucked into my jeans-- it adds more definition. This would look darling with jean shorts for a comfy casual look, or with a mini skirt and platform heels. I am envisioning this paired with a chartreuse mini skirt and bold hoops or statement earrings for a kitschy, yet chic look!
Averie Lightning Bolt Tank by Marc NY, Size 3x — Listed Value $39
Truth be told, I have been eyeballing this lightning bolt tank for quite a while. I have always had an affinity for lightning bolt designs (largely in part due to David Bowie-- love you, Starman!), so I was immediately drawn to this top. I also love the pairing of pinks and reds-- so this was an absolute must! The fabric of this tank is incredibly soft and stretchy-- it is incredibly comfortable to wear. I certainly plan on wearing it for workouts, but this piece is fantastic for everyday wear! Imagine this paired with a faux leather mini skirt, leopard print open-toe platform sandals, black tights, a faux leather biker jacket, big hoop earrings, and oversized glasses for a killer fall look. Eventually, when it is safe to go to clubs and bars again, that is an outfit I would certainly wear!
Biscayne High Waisted Active Leggings by Lola Getts, Size 2x — Retail Value $72 (currently on sale for $45)
I was so excited to see that Kristin included a pair of plain black leggings-- you can never have too many pairs! These might be one of the comfiest pairs of leggings I own now. The material offers ample stretch, but is fantastically soft to the touch. I know these will be a staple in my wardrobe, especially since I am working at home these days for both of my jobs. They look incredible paired with the Averie Lightning Bolt tank, but I can imagine wearing these to workout in as well as in the fall with an oversized sweater and ankle booties for running errands.
Wildflower Pullover by Active Zone, Size 1x — Listed Value $42
I hate to say it, but this is probably my least favorite of the items in this month's box. The fabric is soft and ultra comfortable, but I am not a fan of the design on the chest. I try to be objective in all my reviews, but really the design is just so off-putting to me. I am all for abstract and unusual prints, but this one holds no appeal to me whatsoever, sorry! I would like this top significantly more if it was plain without a design. The 1x does fit me, but I wonder if the 2x would have been the better size option for me. The one plus is it seems to really accentuate my backside, so I will take the positives with the negatives here. I also do like the cowl neck that can be cinched into a closer fitting turtleneck in colder months. Overall, I would not select this for myself, but I can see the appeal since it is an easy to wear loungewear piece.
Verdict: Dia & Co remains one of my favorite boxes to review! This month's box had a little of everything from adorable summer pieces to cozy active/loungewear! I have been reviewing Dia & Co for nearly three years, and I love all the options for their service they have rolled out. They not only offer style boxes, but activewear boxes now. They also provide the ability to shop directly for items without a style box subscription! So many choices, right? I can't rave enough about them offering the option to select up to three items in your style box-- it allows for a true collaboration between you and your stylist! You directly choosing items gives your stylist a further idea of what appeals to you and can influence the rest of the box or future ones you receive. I also still encourage you to fill out feedback each month and provide Instagram and Pinterest links to further influence your stylist for future boxes. It truly ensures that you get the best selections that suit your preferences!
The world is a bit topsy turvy with a lot of inconsistencies these days, but it is a pleasure to have a constant like Dia & Co. I love that I can rely on them to deliver right to my door wonderful fashions. I don't have to risk my or others' safety to go shopping, it all comes to me! I am so excited to see what will be in my June box, aren't you?
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $260. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $180 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is roughly a 30% discount.
