Panda Pals June 2020 Review

Multi-Colored Crayon + Socktivities

Every month Panda Pals sends us a "socktivity" and this month was perfectly fitting with "staying healthy." The coloring sheet featured a Panda with a scooter, and had tips on how to stay healthy. The opposing side gave us info on different food groups, had a maze, a tiny word search, a word scramble, a spot to draw your favorite meal, and a matching game on it! The bonus item this month was this cool multi-colored crayon! While we have received a similar one to this in the past, my kids think it's pretty much the coolest crayon ever and fight over it constantly, so receiving another one was awesome.

Charlie was having a daddy date in the woods today, so Hank got to use the new crayon first! He always enjoys these activities, although the word search and scramble were a bit too tiny to use the crayon on!

Mac & Cheese Socks

Aren't these socks adorbs?! I myself am very fond of mac & cheese, and seeing the little cheese slices and noodles with smiley faces just brightens up my day! Charlie loved the bright blue base of these socks, and we found the red heel/toe/cuff to contrast just perfectly, especially with the yellow and orange graphics added! The only thing I noticed was that these don't feature the usual "Panda Pals" logo on the toe. I also noticed this with one pair of the Women's Sock Panda socks. I wonder if this will be the new norm? While being cute, they are also very comfy, and wash up like new every time. Charlie is obsessed with these socks, and can't wait until we can leave our house to show them off!

Broccoli Zombie Socks

The second pair of socks made me laugh out loud! The theme this month is "staying healthy" and these socks are embellished with zombie broccoli stalks and normal broccoli stalks being X'd out in red! I can definitely say these are socks unlike any I have ever seen! The bright green background and dark green toe/heel/cuff coordinate well with the angry looking, red-eyed broccoli zombies for a great addition to any outfit. Charlie's favorite vegetable is broccoli, so he thought these were pretty great, and because his favorite color is green, I don't think he ever plans on taking these off!

Verdict: Panda Pals is always a surprise! This month featured a theme that is very fitting for our world right now, and I think the mac & cheese and broccoli socks were both pretty fitting for the curation. My kids loved this month's socks, and found them as comfortable and colorful as always. Like I said above, they wash up like a dream and are very easy to sort out of the dryer which is an added bonus! We can't wait to see what they send next month!

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? Each package is customized by size and gender, so yours might look different! If you order today, your socks will be sent USPS within 3-5 days of account activation and will be sent around the same time each month.

Value Breakdown: At $16 a month, you are paying $8 per pair of socks, which is a little higher priced than other socks, but you are also helping people in need by purchasing!

Those socks are so awesome! I’d like them in adult sizes to give to my husband. I’m a weirdo who doesn’t like wearing socks. I think kids can be in on the joke of silly socks.

These socks are far from staying healthy. Lol … Mac and Cheese is not in the realm of a healthy food. And veto out Brocolli is a bad message.

I was fat as a kid, it was the worst thing. Fat with break outs.

Raised my kids better and promote a more healthier message. I would of trashed these socks. .. These totally scream Yes to Mac and Cheese and Brocolli bad.
