Just opened my winter box and I am so happy with it. Fall was my first Margot Elena box and I was a little underwhelmed so I was going to cancel but I’m glad I didn’t because I love this season’s curation. Looks like there’s a variation of the Tokyo Milk Dark roller ball perfume and I received “Everything and Nothing” which is right up my alley! Everything is just absolutely delicious this time around, now I have to find a way to justify keeping it into the new year. 😝

I just got an email that the Winter box has sold out, and they are taking orders foe Spring 2021 (with option to be on the waitlist for winter).

The boxes are amazing! I just got my Fall 2020 and looking forward to Winter 2020!

I decided that if I was ever going to be able to get this box I should do it now. I cant wait to get it. I heard such great things 🙂 I cant believe they are selling out so fast.

I was going to sign up until I saw that shipping wasn’t included. I’m not sure why that stops me, but I always think twice if I have to pay shipping.

Lana
The shipping has stopped me before. idk maybe it’s purely psychological, but I can’t

I forgot where I saw/read it , but I hear that it costs the merchant close to $10 to ship these sorts of boxes (maybe due to weight?) and that a lot of them have about a $5 or $6 shipping charge so they are technically helping to split that cost. Any more than that and I would definitely balk at the cost but I can understand paying $5 for a good size box, especially this one because you get full sized products.

It’s worth it. Don’t let shipping stop you.

Ok, I’ll give it a try then!

I just signed up to receive the winter box and had an option to be added to a waiting list for the fall box. Fingers crossed!
After I got the summer box, I cancelled and then decided to rethink that decision. I have a daughter, daughter-in-law, mother-in-law who all enjoy body care gifts, and there’s always something in there that’s nice for a hostess gift. I’ve also had good luck using my stash to create baskets to donate to fundraiser raffles. So hey…what’s one more subscription?

Same here, signed up and I did select the option to be on the waitlist for Fall. I had a weird computer glitch creating an account and their customer service was prompt, helpful, and friendly!

So if I subscribe today….will I be charged today itself for winter box or I will be charged on Dec 1 as per the website?

Carissa
When I subscribed for the fall box after summer was sold out, I was immediately charged.

I really wish they would bring back lifestyle items!

The summer box had a candle, some cards and a really nice journal.

I cancelled and was surprised I don’t miss it at all. It’s a gorgeous sub and every one is like opening the most luxurious gift, but I really don’t love most of the scents and many of the products. Additionally, the last box or 2 seemed to be going downhill or at least going a different direction than I would like (less lifestyle items, repeats).
For those who still sub and love it, I’m very excited to see what delights await you all for fall and winter 🙂

I to felt the summer box wasn’t as exciting as many in the past. You get your money worth for sure and it’s my favorite box to open and great for gift giving.

I had this sub for a year or so when it first came out. I used to love it but then realized a lot of the items are really drying and heavily fragranced (which might not be an issue if they weren’t so drying). It’s a great way to see what the brands have to offer but after 5 boxes or so I lost interest.

These are the feelings I have and why I chose to cancel my subscription. I do love the lifestyle pieces, but can’t justify the cost anymore.

Fantastic Box! It took me a year to jump in with no spoilers, but after receiving two boxes, Im hooked. Lol. Products have all been full sized, I love the soft scents and luxurious creams. Even the huge bar soap is like a decadent bubble bath in your hands. Since CoVid it seems as if I never leave the house, so pampering myself with a spritz of cologne and cooling mint foot cream allows me to escape in my mind. 🥰

It’s hard for me to want to spend money on something that won’t come for 6 months. I’m glad they’re doing well, though!

I’m hoping the winter will sell out fast so I can get on the list for the spring! I was a subscriber and loved it, but I’m so overloaded right now I took a year off and I really think spring should be about right. However, I’m weak. Maybe I should subscribe for winter. It is great having a backlog for gifts but with COVID I didn’t need any hostess gifts….I’m trying to be strong.

Decided to go for it and try something new. Of course, I’m 100% certain that by the time it arrives in December, I will have no idea why the box showed up, lol.

My favorite things from this sub when I had it were the bubble baths and body washes. They can keep all that hand cream and bar soap.

Zo
LOL, we should share this sub. I want all the hand creams, bar soaps and don’t use bubble bath or body washes.

@Rose, I don’t live in Bozeman, but I am originally from Missoula. Living in Phoenix now, but just wanted to say hey to a fellow MT-er.
Rose
If there’s anyone in the Bozeman, MT area that would like to discuss splitting a box, I’m very interested. I like perfume, body washes, candles, and soap. I have no use for hand creams, body lotions, or lifestyle products (I just have too many already, and I rarely use them). It would be nice to split the cost fairly for the items that we choose.
Zo
This one of those subs that after getting 4-6 boxes you get overloaded with hand creams, bubble bath, etc. I haven’t received a box in a year and I’m still going through stuff. I think I’ll order the Winter box since it’s far enough away that I’ll forget about it and it’ll be a nice surprise. My favorite box was the Wish box.

Lori
Same here. I don’t foresee getting through it all anytime soon and I’ve already given several away as gifts!

Haha, same! But the stash has come in handy for more than one co-worker’s birthday/retirement/etc!

I ordered on June 22 and it still says unfulfilled. I wonder what box will be my first, fall or winter now that the fall box is sold out. I called Customer Service and she told me that the Customer Service girl was out of the office and took my name and number. Either they are short staffed because of what’s going on or this is a very small company.

Sarah
They’re a very small company, but I’ve always found them to provide great service. If you bought while the fall box was still available, that will be your first box. It will say unfulfilled until they ship it. That was my experience when I bought the summer box right after the spring one sold out.

Thanks ladies for explaining their process! I’m very excited to get my first box!
Cecilie
You should be getting the fall box since you placed the order before it sold out.

I love this sub. My summer box was marked delivered but never arrived. Fedex told me the merchant was going to have to file a claim. I called customer service and they promptly shipped one out to me, no questions asked. It arrived in two days.

It’s better to be sold out months in advance that get so big that the products and variations turn it into a big box of disaster…like most of the other sub boxes.

Jen
Do they charge right away or not until December?

Right away for your first box.

Their boxes are amazing, they are always sold out without any spoilers….I have been with them for over two years, and they never disappoint,….This is one subscription box that I do not need any spoilers on…..I love them that much, and will stay subscribed until they are no longer around…..If you can order the winter box now,I would just do it because it will be sold out probably around the time the fall box comes out, maybe sooner, and I promise you will love it.

Do they do many if the tokyo dark items? I subscribed to fall hoping we’d get some of the moodier scents ❤
Reply
Tina Ames
Sorry Hallie I made a mistake on that, they do at least one item form the Tokyo brand,as for the dark they do it once in awhile….Sorry for the mistake,I did not see the dark park that you wrote until after I wrote back and then reread everything,I tend to read things too fast.
Tina Ames
Hi Hallie yes they do at least one item in each box.
Nat
Nope, I am not letting them take my money 5 months ahead of time and not knowing what I’ll get. Maybe if there were some spoilers. They must have a very limited inventory.
Reply
Jenn
It’s just how this company works. It’s a small company and I think they produce enough products for the subscription boxes since some of the items are usually sub exclusive. If you wait for spoilers, you cant even get the box that spoilers are released for because its already sold out. I decided to subscribe after looking at past boxes and I havent been disappointed with the 4 boxes I have received.

Geez. I’m just going to order it, even though December seems so far away while we’re still knee deep in this pandemic. I was thinking about ordering the summer box when it got sold out, then I thought about ordering the autumn box. Now that’s sold out.

Wouldn’t you think they’d add more fall boxes first? I guess they keep a tight control of inventory.

I haven’t even seen a single spoiler for fall yet!
