This month, Society Socks is letting its subscribers know it donated part of last month's proceeds to Imani's Place, which is a transitional home for women experiencing domestic violence.
Last month, they offered a third pair if you tagged them in a photo. Did anyone do this? What did the socks look like?
As for the socks, each month, subscribers receive two pairs of socks each featuring Society Socks' own designs. Usually, one pair will have a quirkier design and the other will be more abstract. All Society Socks pairs are made with an 80% cotton, 15% spandex, 5% elastane blend. There's no extra cushioning on the sole, so they're more like formal socks in that regard. The socks come up around 2/3 to my knee. I am 5'9".

Cool Striped Socks
I'm not sure why, but the first thing I thought when I saw these socks is they look like the kind of shirts my mom bought for me in elementary school. That's not a bad thing. It's kind of nostalgic. The socks are repeating stripes of blue, light blue, green, and teal, with blue accents at the top, heel, and toe. I think these would complement a lot of outfits.

Surf's Up Socks
Last month I said I'd like to see a break from socks that are just different colors in favor of more details. These beach-themed socks were what I was talking about. They look like a morning at the beach. They are mostly light yellow with seafoam green accents. They feature a surfer, his surf wagon, seagulls, palm trees, and what I think is another surfboard. These are one of, if not my favorite, pairs of socks this far.
Verdict: A month after I said I'd like to see more details, Society Socks delivered. I think it's the difference between "cute socks" and "What's on your socks? Tell me more." I hope to see more like these, although I know they can't do it every month. My sock drawn is exploding with personality. I'll definitely be wearing these socks more as soon as gatherings are allowed.
