The Products: BoxDog is bursting with handmade treats, vegan skincare, and premium dog toys and gadgets. Each box is customizable, giving you the option to choose 2-3 items per seasonal box. Each box has a value of at least $125.
Ships to: The continental US for free. Shipping costs $12 to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, and $20 to Canada and the UK.
Summer 2020 BoxDog Review
This quarterly box has a summertime, beachy theme! Murray, my 9-year-old Corgi/Maltese mix, can't wait to "dig in" to this enormous box!

Gourmet Frosted Cookies
Murray, just like his mom, can never say no to a cookie, especially the shark and surfboard which are both coated in a yummy yogurt frosting. His first move is to lick off all of the icing, making sure to get the cookie nice and soggy, then he bites into it leaving 1,000 tiny crumbs. These cookies are human safe and are made from just five ingredients. I am impressed by the simplicity of the ingredients, especially because there are no weird fillers or preservatives I can't pronounce. Good on BoxDog!

BoxDog Bakery Bento
BoxDog's next treat arrangement has three flavor varieties including Soft Bacon & Cheese Bites, Peanut Butter Bones, and Soft Honey and Cinnamon Bites. Of course, Murray enjoyed the soft honey treats the most, but he also really loved its counterparts. These treats are also human safe and quite tempting, actually.

Cookie Monster Medball, Large - Retail Value $24.49
This tough toy was my first choice for this quarter's box. I couldn't resist this goofy version of Cookie Monster, and I knew Murray would love to retrieve the ball inside this little microfiber muppet. Turns out Cookie has five loud squeakers all over his body, and Murray loved playing fetch with this toy so much more than I had anticipated.

This smaller version of Cookie was Mur's favorite. He tossed him all around my living room and had a blast, even without me throwing it for him.

Might Hammerhead Toy - Retail Value $15.42
This toy is the perfect size for Murray. Its body is wrapped in a plush layer with fleece underneath, which gives this toy a durable finish. He has a big squeaker which was thrilling for Mur to squeeze over and over.
I can tell this is one of those toys that will last forever and will be well-loved.

Sunscreen
What a great idea for those pups out there who love to bask in the sun. Murray isn't much of an outside dog; he is so spoiled, laying on the couch in the A/C is where you will find him at any given time. This would be great for any dog lucky enough to visit a beach, too. I really like that it is unscented, and it has an oily texture which would definitely help with the application.

Cooling Mat
I chose this cooling mat because Murray never has a good place to lay when we are sitting on our patio. He usually finds a spot under my chair, but he can never seem to get comfortable on the cement. This mat is perfectly portable, and it will be easy for him to find comfort on this roomy mat. It has a surface that is easy to wipe off, and the underside has little beads that will help it stay in place. It is lightweight and the design is bright and colorful.
Plenty of room for my buddy!
Verdict: This is a pricier pet box, but it was definitely filled with quality items that I knew Murray would love. The customization is a great feature with a lot of fun, different options, and the gourmet treats make this box totally worth the cost. BoxDog's variety of items this month will definitely keep Murray happy and healthy, and we are looking forward to seeing what the fall box options will be.
