Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

I have a variety of sports bras, so I wanted to try out an outfit with a tank this month. I am not used to wearing tops that lack structure like this one in the fabric and style. However, I do like how you can customize the fit with the tie in the back. The fabric is incredibly lightweight and perfect for the gym, especially for ones with stricter dress codes prohibiting you from working in just your sports bra. Would I wear this out and about otherwise? Nah, for me this would be for working out only. It is still rather versatile since the dark grey is a neutral that can be worn with just about any workout ensemble that you own.

If this you have read any of my reviews, you are probably fully aware of my love of animal prints. I am definitely a leopard print gal by default, but I am a sucker for a good tiger, zebra, or snake print as well! Well, once I laid my eyes on these shorts I knew they were a must! This seafoam shade is cool and extremely calming-- I love it! I also am excited to own a pair of shorts since it has been so hot already this summer (of course the summer the public pools are closed is the one that is the hottest and driest we have had in years, I tell ya!)!
These shorts not only are aesthetically awesome, but are extremely comfortable and well made. I appreciate that the shorts are long enough to cover the thighs to reduce the agony that us bodacious babes know as chub rub! You bet I will wear these beauties inside and out of the gym!

My friend, Alysse (of Ready To Stare blogger/influencer/body positive warrior/LGBTQIA activist fame), posted a picture of herself in this top and I knew I had to purchase one for myself. The Black Lives Matter movement is one I am fully behind, as is the sentiment on this shirt. In addition, 100% of net proceeds from their Together We Change tee goes to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and Black Lives Matter. So, my money goes to a cause that is important to me AND I get a cool tee? I am down! I bought one for myself, and to my surprise a $20 credit had been applied to my account as a courtesy for previous orders being late during the pandemic. Due to this shirt going to a charitable cause, I bought a second on a separate order for a dear friend of mine as well. I wanted to ensure money was going to the cause-- and it was a nice gift for my friend that I miss during this pandemic as well.
The shirt didn't get to me 'til roughly mid-July. My friend got hers about a week earlier than me. We both were extremely pleased with the product, though! The shirt is incredibly soft and has the right amount of stretch-- so comfortable! I opted to get the 2x to guarantee that I had the proper coverage lengthwise-- I am glad I did. This is a T-shirt I would wear to the gym or out on errands!
Verdict: Well, Fabletics definitely delivered this month! I got the bright, flashy, and wild print my heart desires, but I also was able to buy a shirt that benefits an important cause as well! The fact that they are donating proceeds from the Together We Change tee to NAACP Legal Defense Fund and BLM makes my heart sing!
I also love that all of the items I reviewed this month go up to a size 4x! Inclusivity is crucial, and I am glad to see the strides that Fabletics has been making! It makes me happy to support them and wear their clothing! Fabletics began offering size 4x products months ago, but I still want to remind people if they forgot! As pleased as I am about this, I do hope they continue to broaden their size range up to size 5x and 6x like Torrid has in their activewear line. I just want to see well made, high-quality activewear offered to all shapes and sizes! I love seeing their plus size ambassadors on my Instagram, but I would love to see them have women in a 4x modeling their items as well to show a spectrum of diversity. How cool would that be as well?
On an unrelated note, I must commend Fabletics on their customer service. I appreciate them applying a $20 credit on my account automatically due to orders running late due to the pandemic. It was an awesome surprise and made me feel valued as a long time customer!
