Gentleman's Box July 2020 “Urk Man" Review

This is our issue of the Gentleman's Post which is basically a booklet that describes the theme for the month and highlights the items included in our box. This month's box honors their favorite "Urk Man" aka Steve Urkel played by Jaleel White. This was a fun and unexpected honoree!

Aristo Ties Tie - Listed Value $35.00
This month's tie doesn't necessarily give me Urkel vibes but I think it's such a fun design for summer! The little bomb pops are small enough that you could still get away with wearing this one to work since it doesn't draw too much attention. Before I show you the tie on my husband, we'll have to get into our next item first!

Handsome & Lace Suspenders - Listed Value $35.00
It wouldn't be an Urkel box without these suspenders! These were such a great inclusion! They are incredibly unique, fit well with the theme, and they seem like a quality pair of suspenders with the (faux?) leather accents.

It's kind of a classy look! While my husband doesn't know how often he will wear them, he is happy to have these on hand!

Sock Fancy Socks - Listed Value $12.00
This month's socks are not my husband's favorite, but they tie in so nicely with the rest of the items in our box. They are 70% cotton, 14% polyester, 13% nylon, and 3% spandex. These come from Sock Fancy which has its own subscription service - check out some past reviews here!

These argyle socks are soft and comfortable.

Trendz Co. Pocket Square - Listed Value: $19.00
Our pocket square brings some of that pink from the socks into our mix. This is such a nice shade of pink! My husband really liked it and I think it has a very "Stephan Urk-el" vibe if you know your Family Matters. It is made from 100% cotton.
Such a nice pop of color against the dark blue of his suit!

Trendz Co. Lapel Pin - Listed Value $12.00
The last item in our box features some more of that attractive shade of pink, tying it in perfectly with our pocket square. It comes from the same brand as our pocket square and is made from 100% polyester. It's very tasteful and will look great on the lapel of his jacket. I completely forgot to have him add that to his final look, but I may just have something better.
I think he nailed it!
Verdict: My husband and I both loved the fun theme of this month's Gentleman’s Box! The items actually came together for a very classy look. That tie is really fun and perfect for summer and the shades of pink were nicely done and added some sophistication. The total listed value of this box is $107.00 which is great for a $29.00 + free shipping box!
