Pura Vida Bracelet Club July 2020 Review
Finally! We are back on track! I received an actual bracelet pack and it arrived on time this month. Let's check it out!
Pura Vida sent this cute fold-out card that tells a little bit about their company and how they give back. This card also includes a nice thank you for your support as well as a cute sticker hidden behind that fun pineapple at the end of the card. This watermelon design is super cute!
The Meadow Set
Your bracelets will arrive in a small drawstring bag with the Pura Vida Monthly Club logo on the outside. These bags are great for storing your bracelets or taking them with you when you travel.
Freshwater and Turquoise Bracelet
This bracelet is really unique and so different for this sub! I really love the pink beads and how they included a freshwater pearl and turquoise bead along with some tiny gold ones strewn throughout. It feels like a fun summery design that will also work well for spring!
Here it is on. This one is so pretty just on its own!
Turquoise Bead Bracelet
The short row of turquoise beads on this one tie in perfectly with the turquoise bead in our first bracelet. These are centered in the middle of a tiny white braid which fits well with the white strings from the first bracelet as well.
I love turquoise and the simplicity of this bracelet is great!
Winterfresh Original Bracelet
This last bracelet is one of their basic original styles with multiple strands. I love the minty green color here although I wasn't sure how it would look with the rest of our stack!
This color is so pretty!
Here they all are together. The green actually looks nice with the other two bracelets which seem to match a bit more.
While modeling these, one of the beads came off of my Freshwater and Turquoise bracelet. It seems like it was already cracked in half and just fell off. While it doesn't really make a huge difference in the look of the bracelet it does expose a very thin string which I'm a little worried will sever since it is exposed and not hidden within the bead. I reached out to customer service by sending them an email with my order number and a photo of the broken bracelet. It took about a week to get a response, but they offered a $15 credit to replace the bracelet with anything from their store along with free shipping. Since the bracelets come as a set, they were unable to replace just the single one that broke which I feel is fair.
Bonus Bracelet
This month we also received a bonus bracelet. It's another original style, but this one features that minty color along with some darker blues.
The colors are great and I love the little red detail on the underside.
Here is the bracelet pack with the bonus bracelet, too. I feel like it helps to tie them all together even better.
I love that these bracelets feature bands you can adjust to fit your wrists comfortably. If the bracelet ends are too long on your wrist, check out this YouTube tutorial on how to shorten the ends!
The threads are also coated in wax, which means you can wear them at the beach or in the shower if you're too lazy to remove them like I am! These bracelets definitely hold up over time, which is one of the many reasons I love them.
The Verdict: This month's Pura Vida Bracelet Club pack was really different and I always love it when they send a bonus bracelet. The colors all seemed to work well together and while I think this Meadow Set might have more of a spring vibe with the pastel pinks and mints, it's still pretty enough to wear year-round! Although my bracelet did break, I am confident that the customer service team will handle it since they have always been helpful in the past and I'm sure it was just something that happened in transit.
