Izzy & Liv "Nothin' Just Chillin'" T-Shirt - Listed Value $25
This "Nothin' Just Chillin'" 100% cotton T-shirt is cute, comfy, and sassy. I love how the relaxed fit of this tee makes it perfect for spending a weekend on the couch or relaxing around the house. The pink, orange, and yellow ombre of the lettering gives this tee a bright, bold flair. Subscribers could have received one of two colors: black or white. I received my T-shirt in black, which I honestly prefer because no one will be able to see me sweat. My one recommendation would be to size up because this tee IS 100% cotton and, in my experience, subject to shrinkage.

Izzy & Liv "Sip in Peace" Hot/Cold Tumbler - Listed Value $20
I love tumblers. I have so many of them. Why, you ask? Are you a recycling, Earth-saving queen? Well, I would like to be, but in all honesty, it's because I am the queen of losing lids and once a tumbler loses its lid, it becomes a regular inside cup. So, I'm always ecstatic to receive another one and this "Sip in Peace" Hot/Cold Tumbler couldn't have come at a better time. I needed this in my life right now for all of my iced coffees and I'm so relieved to have received it before needing to purchase another myself. Subscribers could have received one of seven designs: Curly Glory, Melanin Goddess, Pretty & Primed, Paisley Beauty, Golden Brown Sugar, Tribal Treasures, or She's So Animated. I received my tumbler in Melanin Goddess, which is perfect, since it describes me exactly. If you can't tell, I'm feeling myself today.

Izzy & Liv "Chillin' & Sippin'" 5 pc. Stainless Steel Straws - Listed Value $15
I'm super excited to receive these "Chillin' & Sippin'' 5-piece Stainless Steel Straws. Not only are they eco-friendly and a great way to do your part to reduce your carbon footprint, but in New York at least, they are replacing all plastic straws with these horrible paper ones that seem to disintegrate as you sip on your drink. Not only that but paper straws contain gluten; if you have an allergy or a sensitivity, beware and carry your own reusable straws. I love that this set comes with a straw cleaner and a cute little black pouch for storage. There are two straight straws and two bent ones, so you can select whichever is best for your current beverage. I definitely appreciate that! Subscribers could have received one of three sets: Silver & Holographic, Yellow Gold & Holographic, or Rose Gold & Silver. I received Rose Gold & Silver. It's like they knew that I'm obsessed with rose gold!

Izzy & Liv "Cocoa & Calm" Hot Chocolate - Listed Value $10
It seems a little early for hot cocoa, but as you can see from the pictures, that didn't stop me from busting open this "Cocoa & Calm" Hot Chocolate right away. Subscribers could have received one of three flavors: Salted Caramel, Chocolate Truffle, or Cherry. I received Cherry and it was absolutely delicious. A rich chocolate flavor with a subtle hint of sweet, succulent cherry. This will be perfect to add to my coffee in the morning with a little cream. It'll be like a cherry chocolate mocha; honestly, I'm excited to give that a try. I believe this is the first time I've received something edible in the Brown Sugar Box and I am loving it. Bring on the snacks!

Izzy & Liv "Crazy, Sexy, Cozy" 3/4 Sleeve Sleep Shirt - Listed Value $34
I'm a huge fan of sleep shirts, simply because I abhor pants. When possible and appropriate, I prefer to be pantsless, so this "Crazy, Sexy, Cozy" 3/4 Sleeve Sleep Shirt is right up my alley. If I'm being perfectly honest, I would not call this particular garment "sexy" or "crazy," for that matter but "cozy" is just right! The fabric is 100% cotton, super soft, and cool. It's a one size fits all in a relaxed cut, making it spacious and comfortable. You will not see a picture of me in this sleep shirt because I don't want you to see my bare naked face or my sleep hat or the toothpaste I put on the zit on my chin, but trust me, if you are a sleep shirt or nightgown gal, you will enjoy this product. Subscribers could have received one of six designs: Glow On, Girl; Melanin Goddess; Circles of Beauty; Culture Confident Soul; Paisley Beauty; or Turquoise. In my box, I received Circles of Beauty, a simple, dark navy color with a white pattern and outline of a woman in a headscarf.
The Verdict: This month's Brown Sugar Box was a tutorial in stress management. The world is a little strange and crazy right now and we're all adapting to a new way of life, so it's very easy to get overwhelmed and forget about self-care and relaxation even if you're trapped at home all day. I think this month's box had a great theme and the products dutifully supported it. I absolutely love the "Sip in Peace" tumbler, especially because of the bright, bold pattern of curly haired women. I love how the "Chillin' & Sippin'" 5-piece stainless steel straw set complements the tumbler so well and is a practical, useful product that will help me support our planet. The "Cocoa & Calm" hot chocolate was delicious. I really enjoyed the subtle cherry flavor and am thrilled to have received something so different in this box. I also love how the tumbler, the straws, and the cocoa coincide with each other. I absolutely love the sleep shirt. The comfortable style and fit and the coziness of the soft and cool material make it perfect for an early bedtime with a good book. And of course, the "Nothin' Just Chillin'" tee, another solid T-shirt with bold, colorful lettering and a sassy message; just my thing! This month's box came out to retail value of $104. All in all, I have to say, I really enjoyed the synchrony of the items in this month's Brown Sugar Box. I love how it is gently ushering in the fall.
