Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!
The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co August 2020 Review
That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month now comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, though, I must say!
Enclosed is another awesome message from my stylist, Kristin S.! She mentions the shorts I selected and the Morgan tank she picked out for me to wear with them! She also mentions the ability to select three items for the box or the option to purchase items directly on the site as well! Her notes are always so kind and informative!
The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $234. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $160.50! The savings would be $73.50 if I did decide to keep everything! That isn’t too shabby! That is almost like getting the for Marley top and the Seabury shorts for free.
The Morgan Ruffle Tank by BOBEAU, Size 2x — Listed Value $45
When I initially spotted this tank (see what I did there?), I thought it was adorable, but was unsure if they had the proper size for me. Luckily, Kristin noticed I "hearted" this piece and sent it my way in a 2x! I love the orange/rust shade and the light, breezy fabric. The fabric has limited stretch, but is made in a roomy, comfortable style. It looks fantastic paired with shorts, but I can also envision this looking great with skinny leg jeans and western-style booties with a faux leather biker jacket in cooler months. This would also look great paired with a blazer and pencil skirt in a business casual setting.
Seabury Cuffed Short in Black by Meri Skye, Size 22 — Listed Value $38, on sale for $25
I love black, high-waisted jeans, so it is no surprise I picked out the shorts version for myself. These shorts fit like an absolute dream! The fabric is the perfect dark, black rinse and has loads of stretch as well! Though it is late in the summer, I know I will get a ton of wear out of these even through October! These will become such a warm weather staple due to the classic cut that is effortless to style! One can easily wear these shorts with a blouse and flats, a striped elbow-length top with sneakers, or your favorite vintage band T-shirt and chunky heels for a bold, yet casual ensemble.
Jamaica High-Rise Button Front Short by Vigoss, Size 22 — Listed Value $58
I will be the first to admit that I am very particular regarding my clothes, especially when it comes to jeans. I am generally not a fan of distressed styles with rips, tears, or acid washes. That is why I am surprised I fell in love with these shorts. They have a slight distressed/faded rinse, but it is not the ostentatious variety of the '80s/'90s of my youth. I also actually love the cut-off feel to these shorts as well-- GO FIGURE! Not only do they look great, but they are wildly comfortable to wear. The fabric has ample stretch. They did stretch out a bit more while wearing them, but not enough that they lost their shape. I opted to style the shorts with my favorite western-style booties that I added boot chains to, a Misfits T-shirt, and my cool weather go to: my faux leather biker jacket. I am excited to wear these the rest of this summer and next year as well!
Marley Long- Sleeve Graphic Sweatshirt in Tan/White, Size 2x — Listed Value $39
I don't generally go for tan/oatmeal colored items, but I couldn't resist the sentiment on this sweatshirt! My cousin can attest, every time we go on walks I gush on and on about every single dog we encounter. Dogs are sweet angel babies that we don't deserve, I tell ya! Wearing this sweatshirt in the cooler months will put it out there for all the owners: Please, pretty please, may I pet your doggy?! This sweatshirt fits, but is a little snug. I probably would have picked out the 3x if they had it so it could be baggier, loungewear fit. I also would have preferred the purple style for the color, but also because you can see the statement on the top better! I mean business about wanting to pet these dogs, guys! This sweatshirt looks great with leggings and high top sneakers, but also would look adorable with dark wash blue jeans, brown leather moccasins, and an oversized orange/rust sweater cardigan for ultimate fall vibes!
Daphne Leggings by MARC NY, Size 3x — Retail Value $54
I have been working from home since the end of March for all my jobs/projects. Since then, I went from having a few loungewear items to having a sea of leggings, sweatshirts, caftans, pajamas, etc. I am at home 24/7 and I want to be comfortable! I am pleased as punch to receive another pair of leggings for my growing collection! The fabric feels like a soft, stretchy, T-shirt material-- but thicker. The slight pattern on the legs and the ankles give it a sporty vibe. Certainly, these would be fantastic for hanging on the couch or at your desk all day, but also are comfortable to wear while working out and going for walks in cool fall weather.
Verdict: Dia & Co did it again! I absolutely love the pieces I received due to the teamwork effort of myself and my stylist. Sure, I chose the two pairs of jean shorts and the sweatshirt, but my stylist selected the Morgan tank and the ultra-comfy Daphne leggings! My stylist, Kristin S., and I have been working together for some time. She truly has a gauge of my preferences from what I select, but also through my monthly feedback I provide. I know, I will sound like a broken record, but I cannot suggest providing feedback monthly enough to you guys! I also recommend providing your Instagram and Pinterest links to ensure your box is styled with you in mind! Kristin had mentioned it in her note to me, but I also like to take advantage of the option to select three of the five items for myself. I am incredibly selective when it comes to my clothing and actually enjoy to shop, so this feature is perfect for me! You can shop directly on the site and they even offer an activewear box too-- awesome for loungewear during quarantine.
Speaking of the quarantine, this service has been a great comfort to me in the last five months of this pandemic. I rarely leave my house these days, the times I do it is to get groceries. I am trying to keep myself and others safe by socially distancing. This doesn't mean that I don't miss going out! I truly miss going to shopping malls, but with services like Dia & Co you get a piece of that delivered right to your doorstep! It is safe and a constant I look forward to every month. August was a fun box, but I am excited to see what I get for September, aren't you?
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. Also, take advantage of their option for you to pin pieces and select up to three items for your monthly box as well!
Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $234. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $160.50 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is roughly a 31% discount.
