Emma & Chloé August 2020 Review
This month's box arrived with a booklet featuring gorgeous photography and other E & C pieces you can purchase.
Let's peek inside!
Leane Necklace with Mother of Pearl - Retail Value $70.00
My first thought was that this is such a perfect coordinating piece for last month's Acia Bangle! They share the same pearl stone. It looks like this necklace actually comes in a few different stones (as well as in silver too!) so I am not sure if we will all get mother of pearl or if some people might get a variant. All I know is that I love this piece. It has the simplicity I like in my jewelry right now but it is no shrinking violet. The different chain styles and lariat design make it feel modern and very trendy, while still remaining a piece I can see myself wearing for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised that while it does have a lariat style pendant, it also has an actual clasp which is nice because I don't have to slide it over my big head to wear it.
It looked super cute peeking out from a higher necked top I have made of French linen. I felt very fancy, TBH. Its been a sweatshirt sort of life for me lately, so this pairing left me feeling weirdly stylish.
It also worked well with a more utilitarian military-style 'shacket'. Yes, I caved and bought a shacket. (Am I trendy yet?)
All Emma & Chloé pieces also come with a certificate of authenticity card plus care instructions on the back:
Verdict: I really liked this month's Emma & Chloe necklace a lot. It's dainty and interesting, and legit goes with just about anything in my closet. It does feel a little more lightweight than I prefer, but that is probably because half of the chain is so delicate! As usual, the piece felt well made and the whole unboxing and presentation, in general, was lovely.
