Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson, which includes a plus size line of their fashionable workout gear! You can shop their line in two different ways—either you can shop through their regular store or sign up as a VIP member. The VIP Membership works like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $24.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
Unlike a lot of other subscription boxes, you are not automatically sent a package each month. You have to go into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

In my July review, I debated whether a larger sized sports bra would have been a better option for me. For some time I have been wondering what the difference in fit between my typical 3x would be compared to a 4x size sports bra. I decided to take on this experiment and give it a whirl for this month's review. The bra isn't like a high impact style and is comparatively a more relaxed fit. The 4x made this sports bra fit more like a bikini top on me, but one with more support if that makes sense? It was easy to put on and take off and extremely comfortable. I love the style of this one and its little peek-a-boo keyhole underneath the front twist. Overall, I love this piece and will probably wear it in place of my regular bra even when not working out-- it is that comfy!

Your girl tends to go bold and bright-- and these vivid, neon green leggings epitomize "bold and bright." The color is ace and these certainly will be great to wear on my walks at night; cars and people can't miss me if they tried! The compression fit and the high waist make these my go-to brand leggings-- they make me feel incredibly secure. I won't need to constantly pull up my pants on the treadmill or elliptical. Not only are these great for working out in, but Fabletics leggings are amazing to wear when traveling. When I did get to travel and fly, my black leggings were always a go-to. I could see these green ones working great with an oversized t-shirt, long boxy cardigan, and easy to wear (and equally easy to remove for the TSA) shoes at the airport!
Verdict: Fabletics nailed it with this affordable, yet high-quality activewear ensemble! Their pieces are incredibly well made and the price point is fantastic. Fabletics often has sales various times during the year and offer promos to their members, which truly makes them a great value! I constantly am suggesting them to friends and family asking about workout clothing too-- I just love them that much!
I also appreciate that Fabletics has taken great strides to be a more inclusive brand. I have been reviewing them for three years, and the options and size range have immensely increased! They permit you to personalize outfits with the sports bra style of your preference as well as leggings too. I also love that they have expanded their sizes to a 4x! That is monumental because bodacious babes want well made/constructed activewear as well! As pleased as I am about this development in the last year, I do hope that Fabletics doesn't lose their momentum in the race for inclusivity. Why stop at a 4x when you could offer pieces in a 5x and 6x like competitors like Torrid and Lane Bryant, right? It isn't even close to the finish line and I am so eager to see the game-changing moves Fabletics takes in their selections and advertisements to make their customers of all sizes feel represented and heard!
