JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription that allows you to shop in two ways - you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Style quiz to note your size and style preferences.
- Each month, JustFab releases a new collection and they will curate looks that match your preferences which you can view in your personalized Boutique.3
- Shop those looks at 40% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If you do neither, the $39.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied towards future purchases.

JustFab September 2020 Review
I get a lot of questions about how this subscription works and since it is a bit confusing I figured I'd walk you through the process:
Signing Up
The first step to signing up is taking a short quiz to answer some questions about your style, or you can just skip that and go straight into registering for an account with your name, email address, and shoe size. Then they will take you to your "boutique" which are some items they recommend for you. While the $10 offer seems like it can only be applied to shoes, it will also take 40% off any clothing or accessories, which will be the price shown in red. Of course, once you go to check out, they may offer you some additional deals, so I recommend finding a few items and seeing how much you can save! Just a warning- they do sell out of items, especially in certain sizes, so if you are in love with something, don't hesitate!
First Purchase
Just for fun, I added these slide sandals to my cart. Now you can see they ring up as only $10 so long as you select that you are joining their VIP membership. I've also included the terms of their membership program. FYI - I have successfully canceled an account in the past without having to call in.

Monthly Membership
Each month you can avoid paying the $39.95 membership fee by simply going into "My Account" and selecting "Skip the Month." Once it says "You've Skipped," you can just forget about this until next month with no obligation to shop or buy. You could also shop that month to avoid the credit, but I much prefer skipping and then shopping at my leisure, or even better, waiting for a sale to shop! Also, you get points for shopping and for reviewing items you've purchased which can be redeemed for a % off or even just $ off which can add up fairly quickly. Although, sometimes the way the credit applies to sale items can get a bit tricky, so you may have to play around with it a bit to make sure you're getting the best deal.
Summary
- It's $10 for your first pair of shoes or 40% off clothing or accessories for your first purchase.
- Set a reminder to skip each month so you don't end up with a credit you don't want.

Andi Sweater Cuff Boot in Military Green - Retail Value $64.95, New VIP Offer $10.00 (previously on sale for $15.00)
I originally started looking at the boots on their site to replace a pair of gray boots I have that were scuffed up, but instead, I came across these and the military green color intrigued me. I felt like the color would be super versatile and pair well with almost anything. Plus, they were on sale for $15! Can't beat that! I actually have this boot in another color and it's comfortable and perfect for pairing with leggings or jeggings. The sweater cuff at the top is a cute accent that adds a tiny bit of warmth and the buckles are another great accent. It looks like this color is sold out, but they do have a few left in other colors that I linked to.

You can see how much the color changes once I took them outside. The color is sort of hard to pin down, so I think these will be great for pretty much whatever I'm wearing.

Reversible Puffer Jacket in Charcoal/Wine - Retail Value $72.95, New VIP Offer $29.97 (previously on sale for $20.00)
I have warmer, thicker jackets for when I'm going to spend time outdoors, but what I'm missing is the coat that is warm and I can throw on, but that won't take up a ton of room in my shopping cart when I have to run errands. Does anyone else know what I mean? Maybe it's just me, but I hate driving with my long, warm coat on, but I'm also a wimp when it comes to the cold, so this reversible jacket seemed like it would be a fun option that wouldn't take up a ton of space and would keep me warm. I love the red side, which is so different, but since it's reversible, I'm not stuck with a bold jacket, and instead, I have the more subtle gray side if I want to tone it down. The gray actually has a little bit of purple to it and both sides feature useful pockets although the red side is open pockets while the pockets on the gray side actually zip up. This was another steal at $20.

The Beach People Macrame Clutch in Ivory - Retail Value $64.95, New VIP Offer $26.97
This last item is a bag that I have been eyeing all summer and it seemed like a steal at $15, but it was much smaller than I anticipated. Obviously, that's my fault for not paying attention, but I still do think it's really cute and will be setting it aside for a cute little bag to carry around at the beach next year. I love the macrame details on the front and I think the pattern inside is fun, too. It is definitely well made. That being said, I could never see paying the retail or even VIP price for this bag!
This definitely does not go with my outfit, but at least you can see the size!
The Verdict: I was bummed because I totally missed JustFab's Labor Day sale, but fortunately, they had another great sale a few days later, and I was able to score these three pieces for $55.26 after taxes with free shipping. The bag was slightly disappointing due to the size (my fault for not checking!), but overall, I'm pleased with my purchases and think I'll get a lot of use out of them! I also saved quite a bit off of the $202.85 retail total with a VIP total of $139.85 and a further discounted sale total of $55.26, which includes free shipping and returns!
