Bespoke Post "Spotlight" Review
If you read my last Bespoke Post review, you know I was brewing cider and kombucha, both from Bespoke Post kits! This month, I decided to really go off-script and pick a lamp for this delivery.

Harper Task Lamp
FYI: this lamp is about 15.5 inches tall, and 9.5 inches wide.
A lamp is something I need in my office and also something I have never received in a subscription box, so when I saw this little modern design I immediately added it to my shipment. It came in either a white or charcoal shade, and though it took me a little bit of time to decide, I thought the charcoal would be more appropriate for the look of my home. This lamp is really well made and quite heavy for its size. The circular head is adjustable, and you can point it wherever you would like. The base is a very luxe-looking brass and it is clean and elegant, without a switch. The way to turn it on and off lived in a built-in switch on the black cord.
My only complaint about this lamp is that finding a bulb for it is a bit of a pain. The head is shallow but the base is for an average-sized lightbulb. Even a shorter bulb is going to stick out just a little, so I recommend a frosted or white bulb so you don't blind yourself. You could also use an Edison-style bulb for a little less light but a lot more style!
Here is it set up on a console in my living room. I plan on moving it to my office, but I do like it here! It gives just enough light and lets me point it to focus on some of my favorite things.
Verdict: I am very happy with the lamp that arrived in my Bespoke Post this month. It feels like it is great quality and the style is very modern and clean! I am also tickled that you can actually get a lamp in a box. What's next, a couch? Sign me up! Knowing the amazing items and curation that Bespoke consistently offers, I am sure it will be something else unexpected and totally useful!
