Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

FYI, COVID-19 Update:

Due to health and safety measures we are taking to protect our employees, orders may be delayed. We appreciate your patience!

Dia & Co August 2020 Review

That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month now comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, though, I must say! Also included is the free return shipping envelope as well.

Enclosed is another awesome message from my stylist, Kristin S.! She provided a few styling tips, but also encouraged me to reach out with any trends or styles I am liking this season for the October box. Will do!

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $351. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $243.25! The savings would be $107.75 if I did decide to keep everything! That is like getting the Janice Fur Collar Knit Jacket and Vivi Clutch for free; that isn’t too shabby!

Janice Fur Collar Knit Jacket by Belldini, Size 2x — Retail Value $119.00, on sale for $71.40

Fall is officially here! The days are getting shorter and you can feel a crispness in the air. I am sad to see summer go, but I am excited for Halloween, all the pumpkin spice things, hot apple cider, and watching scary movies in my ghostie pajamas! Now that it is getting colder out, I have had to bust out my sweaters and jackets. I was excited to get this jacket-- it is perfect for the fall/early winter season! The material is the perfect thickness-- you won't be too hot or too cold in this piece!

I also absolutely love the faux fur collar detail. Goodness knows I love the glamour that faux fur adds to a piece. This one is no exception. it gives it such an effortlessly chic and classic look!

If faux fur isn't your thing, that's okay because the collar is detachable! I styled this jacket with a dress I also received from Dia & Co and reviewed back in July, along with booties from a December 2019 ShoeDazzle review, and glasses from wherelight.com for a warm toned fall vibe. I imagine this looking phenomenal with a fair isle sweater and jeans or a glitzy gold holiday dress to bring out the zipper accents on the jacket itself.

Vivi Clutch in Navy— Listed Value $39, on sale for $24.00

I must give props to Dia & Co-- they generally tend to offer clutches that are stylish, yet practical. This classic clutch is no exception. This particular style has a clasp that keeps your zipper in place-- which is so convenient! Back in another life, when I went to crowded clubs and bars filled with people, I would always have to be mindful of my purse opening. This is like the Fort Knox for clutches since it has a zipper and clasp-- someone will be rather obvious if they are trying to rummage through your bag. I also love that it has multiple compartments. You have a special place to easily stow away your keys, money, cards, and cosmetics.

This bag also is a convertible style. You can wear it as a wristlet/handbag or a cross-body purse!  My only grievance is that my stylist sent me it in navy. I would get so much more use for it in black, but otherwise-- this is a classic staple piece that is an awesome addition to anyone's bag collection.

Julie Sequin Top by RACHEL Rachel Roy, Size 2x — Listed Value $69.00

My stylist, Kristin, knows that I am a glam ham, pandemic, or not! I was pleased that she sent me this black sequin stunner along with the more casual items I selected. I have reviewed plenty of Rachel Roy pieces and I love the glamorous style of the brand's pieces. I was concerned that this top was going to be too long, but I actually like the length on me. I thought I would prefer it tucked in, but I actually like it more so untucked. The fabric has limited stretch, but the top is designed to not be worn snug on the body. I styled it with a faux leather black mini skirt, disco ball rhinestone earrings, and white booties-- but this would look awesome with jeans and heels for a date night as well!

May Long Sleeve Tee with Back Detail in Navy, Size 3x — Retail Value $50.00

I have lots of t-shirts, but before the pandemic, I didn't have a lot of sweatshirts or longer sleeved casual tops. In colder weather months, I would simply layer my t-shirts with cardigans. I still love sweaters and cardigans, but I am trying to expand my comfortable leisurewear pieces. I was expecting this to feel more like a sweatshirt, but it is a thinner, breezier, stretchy, cotton-like fabric. The back has an opening with a twisted strap across the back. It has ample stretch and a slight batwing sleeve. I styled it with a pair of Lola Getts leggings from my May Dia & Co review and some comfy Target slippers-- I am living for a cute, but easy to wear ensemble these days! However, this would look awesome styled with a denim mini-skirt and booties or in early Summer with palazzo pants and embellished sandals.

Lindsey Wrap by Marc NY, Size 3x — Retail Value $59.00

Man, do I love a good cardigan. Most of mine are a sweater/knit material, so I was eager to get this stretchy cotton-like material instead. I figured it would be perfect for fall walks at night. The length is great because it covers my dupa and I am a fan of the large side pockets as well. I also like the thumbholes at the wrists as well. I am ready for a stroll out on my leaf-covered street or to binge-watch a tv show with a hot mug of apple cider in my hands. Either way, I am cozy and comfortable!

Pack of Three Printed  Masks in black and white, Retail Value $15.00

Not to get preachy, but I take social distancing and mask-wearing very seriously. I want to ensure my safety and those around me at all times. I must say, I have amassed quite the mask collection these last several months. I figure: why not look cute while I am practicing safety measures, right? Dia & Co has us covered on this, offering sets of three mask for $15. I opted for the black and white style because it will go with everything! Plus, there is a leopard print one in the set, so that was a major DUH! The material is a soft cotton (imagine the comfiest t-shirt you own) and is incredibly easy to wear. No discomfort at all! There is no tension behind my ears and these perfectly cover my ample face. I have a big head and with that a lot of face, so hats and masks can be a struggle-- I can easily confirm these are big face approved! Also, I want to let you guys know these are safe and passed the candle test (I couldn't blow out any candles with these beauties on).

The black and white floral print is so pretty. Since it is black and white, you can style this mask with just about anything!

I love the leopard print with the Marc NY top and my black acid-washed jean skirt from Eloquii. I am feeling fierce--- fiercely safe!

And finally the classic polka dot print. You can't go wrong with this polka dot mask and I love how it looked with the sequin Rachel Roy top-- too cute!

Verdict: This month's Dia & Co was fun and eclectic! I love being able to collaborate with my stylist, Kristin, on boxes. I choose more casual and leisure pieces since I work at home, but she threw in some sparkle and pizzazz for me-- something I truly miss. My stylist, Kristin S., and I have been working together for some time. She truly understands my likes and dislikes. I am sure I have shocked her the last seven months with all the sweatshirts and leggings I have been requesting! I am usually the one begging for things covered in spangles, glitter, and big wild patterns and colors. It was nice to get some surprises this month that fit my personality so well.  I have said it once, and I will say it again: provide your stylist feedback every month! It helps them understand your preferences better and builds up that rapport between you and your stylist.  I also recommend providing your Instagram and Pinterest links to ensure your box is styled with you in mind! I also LOVE to take advantage of the option to select three of the five items for myself. I am ridiculously particular and selective when it comes to my clothing. I actually enjoy to shop as well, so I was beyond excited to see this feature rollout earlier this year.  You can also shop directly on the site and they even offer the Dia Active box too-- awesome for loungewear for the cooler fall weather.

Dia & Co has been an added comfort during the pandemic. It is like getting a slice of my old normal each time I receive a monthly box. Even though the malls have been open for some time in my area, I still avoid them when I can and do online orders and deliveries. Getting my monthly Dia & Co is like getting the mall delivered to my doorstep. It is safe and a constant I look forward to every month. The September selections were pretty fantastic (how cute is that jacket Kristin picked out for me?), but I am very eager to see what I get in the October box, aren't you?

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you! Also, take advantage of their option for you to pin pieces and select up to three items for your monthly box as well!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $351. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $243.25 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is roughly a 31% discount.

Nicole,

I just want to say that you do the best job of reviewing clothing subscriptions period. There is so much genuine enthusiasm paired with knowledge. It is obvious you take the time to learn about the subscription services and what they can (or can’t) do for you. I am not in the market for something like this particular service, but I definitely trust your opinion.

You’d be so perfect as a(n official) spokesperson for Dia & Co! I mean, besides the fact you look awesome in the curated looks they send you.
