Panda Pals is a subscription service that sends two pairs of fun socks for boys or girls ages 3-8 every month, plus fun “socktivities” to do together. Some of the designs are unisex, while others have unique designs specifically for boys and girls.
This review is of the Medium Kids Sock, $16 a month, box for ages 6-8 years.

Socktivity
Every month Panda Pals sends us a "socktivity" along with a small extra item or 2. This month we received an educational sheet that discusses the layers of the Rainforest, along with a word search and bonus trivia facts. We also received 2 temporary tattoos, a parrot bookmark, and 2 foam Halloween stickers. My boys LOVE temporary tattoos, and the bookmark was really exciting to Hank because he is now able to mark his spot in his new "Magic Treehouse" book!

Sloth Socks
To pair with the Rainforest theme this month, our first pair of socks features a brilliant turquoise blue background with dark tropical leaves printed throughout the sock. As learned from the included socktivity, they have also printed different animals in the different Rainforest layers. Just look at that toucan hanging out in the canopy! As usual, these socks feature the "Panda Pals" logo on the toe of the sock and are stretchy enough to fit a variety of foot sizes. Charlie is quite fond of sloths, so this was his pick for the month, and he can't wait to wear them to school on Monday.

Toucan Socks
Our next pair of socks is also mostly brilliant blue but features burgundy and mustard yellow contrast in the toes and heels. This pair debuts a wonderfully large toucan sitting on a branch among some tropical leaves. This pair also features the "Panda Pals" logo, and fits Hank's 7-year-old feet perfectly. A bright and exciting twist on a usually boring undergarment!
Verdict: Panda Pals is always exciting, as you never know what you are going to get. This month my boys loved the Rainforest theme and found the socktivities to be educational, fun, and useful. Both pairs of socks are pairs my boys would have picked out for themselves, which is a win in itself. These socks have proven to be comfortable, stylish, and wash well, which is exactly what I, as a mom want to see in a sock! We can't wait to see what next month's theme will be.

Value Breakdown: At $16 a month, you are paying $8 per pair of socks, which is a little higher priced than other socks, but you are also helping people in need by purchasing!
