Question about these candles – are they super strongly scented? I’ve never owned anything from this brand & ive been really into candles lately! I have to be careful with some scents bc I deal w/ migraines but I don’t burn them for hours on end either. For some I get that these are small but I’m really interested in these since I could try out some scents & find a favorite! Is there any other brand that does a holiday thing like this advent or just minis?
Any info or your thoughts would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!😊

Hi, AnnaMarie! I would say that, as a whole, Voluspa candles are very strongly scented and are… complicated scents? Their candles are always made up of many different scents, they’re not just “lavender,” or “vanilla.”I know composite scents like that can give some people a headache, but they are my favorite candle makers. I hope this helps!
P.S. Nest may offer some sort of holiday gift set. Their candles are softer scented.

For some reason I can’t reply directly to your comment, but… I’m glad I was helpful, AnnaMarie! And I’m glad my name gives you a giggle. 😀 I thought it appropriate for my unboxing YouTube channel!

Boxtopus! Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I really appreciate it!! That’s definitely good to know about them being more complex scents which yes can give me a headache! But I’m still interested in this set. Love your name whenever I see it on here it always makes me giggle!

looks nice but way overpriced for such small candles. if it goes on sale for 25 – 50% off I’m in to give it a try but not at $75
Yankee’s votives go for $1.00 when on sale and smell amazing and burn so well. Also tons of options.

These aren’t even votive sized, at 1oz they’re about the size of a shot glass.

Are the candles in a glass votive holder? I can’t tell if they are or are just really ornately carved. I think it’s the former, and if it is, it seems like a great deal

Voluspa candles are often in these glass, intricately carved holders. I have a whole set carved to look like macarons 🙂

Great advent calendar. At $6.25 a candle is it worth it? 1oz is small, wish they were a little larger.

Voluspa makes my FAVORITE candles, and I think $75 is a reasonable price. I may have to spring for this one. My only complaint is that they’re votives, and I prefer larger candles.
