Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes, and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects five pieces that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all five pieces too!
The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

Dia & Co October 2020 Review
That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month now comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, though, I must say! Also included is the free return shipping envelope as well.
Enclosed is another awesome message from my stylist, Kristin S.! She provided a few styling tips, but also gave me handy info on options for outfit bundles, daily steals, and to check out the new arrivals on the Dia & Co site as well!
The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $315. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $221.25! The savings would be $93.75 if I did decide to keep everything! That is almost like getting the Courtney Shearling Moto jacket free – that isn’t too shabby!
Finally, included was this adorable card and sticker packet encouraging folks to vote in the 2020 Presidential election. I vote in every election, big or small (though none in my eyes are small), so this greatly resonated with me! Let your voice be heard with your vote always, my friends!
Danica Long Sleeve Dress by Vero Moda, Size 2x — Retail Value $69.00
I had been eyeballing this dress and went back and forth on selecting it for one of my three choices for this month's box. Not because I didn't think it is a stunner, but mainly because I wasn't sure if the fabric would be stretchy and they didn't have a 3x. I decided to go for the 2x-- YOLO as the kids used to say. The colors on this dress are absolutely gorgeous-- I love the celery green against the aqua/sky blue, lavender, and baby pink, black, and white. It has a vintage flair I can't get enough of as well! I styled this piece with my favorite white ankle booties (seriously, they are the comfiest booties I own-- I wish I had them in every color they were made in!) and some Lola style smokey lavender glitter cat eyes. I can envision wearing this in early Springtime for a date; add a black faux leather biker jacket and oversized hoop earrings for extra sass!
Taylor Metallic Halter Top by Vero Moda, Size 2x— Listed Value $35.00
This is the second piece I selected in this month's box. If you have been following my reviews for some time, you will realize I am a sucker for all that is glitzy. This top is no exception to my lust for that glitters and shimmers. I also love a good mock turtleneck style, so this sleeveless top was a must! This top is an easy way to add glamour to a pair of jeans or dress pants. The top also has ample stretch which makes it easy to wear. I paired this piece with cropped black dress pants and lighter silver pointy-toe flats to add a slight contrast to enhance the ensemble. This would look phenomenal with a faux leather mini-skirt and heels (for when we eventually can safely go to clubs and bars again) or in the summer wear this with black shorts, statement earrings, and a cute pair of bedazzled sandals!
Hailey Cowl Neck Blouse by East Adeline in Forest Green, Size 2x — Listed Value $32.00
I will be honest, when I initially unboxed this month's box this was the piece I was the least excited about. I wasn't keen on the cowl neck sleeveless design. However, I was surprised by how much I liked it once I got it on! The top drapes so beautifully! The top itself is made from a stretchy, slinky cotton material, but the front has a chiffon overlay. I also like the green against my pumpkin-orange hair! This top comes in three other colors too: white, black, and a rich burgundy! This would look wonderful with a black pencil skirt and blazer for the office or with your favorite skinny leg jeans and ankle booties for a casual, yet fierce outfit!
Shay Super Skinny Jeans by Vigoss in Dark Wash, Size 22 — Retail Value $84.00
I must say, these jeans would normally not be the variety I would select for myself. I am not a fan of distressed styles that are a lighter rinse. I generally go for black or dark indigo rinse jeans, but I am an open-minded gal and willing to give these a go! The material has loads of stretch and is incredibly comfortable to wear. I would have preferred a slightly higher waist – if the waist on my skinny leg jeans comes up only an inch or two underneath my chest I am content. I am not exaggerating! I fear for the day early 2000's super low waist jeans come back on the scene – they can stay wherever they went forever as far as I am concerned!
Sorry, I got a bit off track there – all things considered, I do like these jeans! I styled them with the East Adeline top Kristin selected for me, but I can envision these looking awesome with a vintage raglan style band shirt and western-style boots. An old Rolling Stones t-shirt, booties, and a faux leather biker jacket with these is my ideal look!
Courtney Shearling Moto Jacket by Vero Moda, Size 2x — Retail Value $95.00
Finally, I have saved the best for last: this amazing moto jacket by Vero Moda. I just realized that every piece I picked out for myself this month was by this brand – wild, huh? I knew I had to have this jacket as soon as I saw it – it is just that good! The details on this faux leather jacket are fantastic and the material on the lapel and sleeves is a soft, silky, faux fur. It is so perfect. The fit is fantastic too because it has some stretch, but also fits well and crops right at the waist. I styled it with the top and jeans Kristin selected for me, but this will enhance everything from a sequin mini dress to a striped sweater dress to a comfortable jeans and t-shirt look. This jacket will take me into fall and warmer winter days in style – I will be slaying/sleighing all the way into December in this number!
Verdict: This month's Dia & Co was filled with diversely beautiful pieces! I absolutely love being able to collaborate with my stylist, Kristin, on boxes. I am a scavenger by nature and love nothing more than to peruse a sales rack or rummage sale, so I inherently love being able to pick out three of the five pieces in each month's box. The options I chose definitely were a mish-mash of various elements of my style. Kristin selected pieces that compliment my selections rather well, especially the Vigoss jeans. They look great with the moto jacket. I love being able to see what she picks for me each month with the feedback I provide. I have said it once, and I will say it again: give your stylist feedback every month! It helps them understand your preferences better and builds up that rapport between you and your stylist. Go through the site too and "heart" pieces you like to create a library of items your stylist can sift through as well. This truly ensures you get a well tailored box! I also recommend providing your Instagram and Pinterest links to give your stylist an even more precise visual of your preferences. Keep in mind too that you can also shop directly on the site and they even offer the Dia Active box too – awesome for loungewear for the upcoming brisk fall and winter months. Gotta keep cozy, am I right?
Services like Dia & Co have been such a comfort to me during the pandemic. I have the fortune to work from home for both jobs, so I stay in more than not these days. It is bizarre to think of how filled my calendar was a year ago in comparison to now. I miss being able to hit the mall for a killer outfit for a weekend of parties and shows at dives with my friends, but Dia & Co delivers right to my door a slice of my old normal. I get excited to style pieces and get dressed up even if it is to watch a movie with my boyfriend in the living room. You gotta get your kicks where you can these days, and Dia & Co still delivers the kicks to me after all these years! The service just keeps getting better as the years roll by!
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. Value Breakdown: This box has a $20 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $315. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $221.25 for the whole box. Ultimately, that is roughly a 31% discount.
