Society Socks Men's Review December 2020
Society Socks always comes with a card. Like this month, it typically informs subscribers of charities it supports. This month Society Socks is supporting Mobile Loaves, Share a Meal, and Sock It To Em.
As for the socks, each month, subscribers receive two pairs of socks each featuring Society Socks' own designs. Usually, one pair will have a quirkier design and the other will be more abstract. All Society Socks pairs are made with a cotton, nylon, and spandex blend. There's no extra cushioning on the sole, so they're more like formal socks in that regard. The socks come up around 2/3 to my knee. I am 5'9".
Digital Holiday Socks, Estimated Value $12.00 (based on similar socks)
Just in time for the holidays, these socks give a Christmas vibe without explicitly saying so. They are dark blue with light blue accents at the top, ankle, and toe. There are columns of triangles that form light blue and red trees, and little light blue dots that look like snow. I definitely like things with more of an abstract feel about them, rather than just spelling it out. These will look great while opening presents on Christmas morning.
Caveman Socks, Estimated Value $12.00 (based on similar socks)
These dark blue socks have red accents on the top, ankle, and toe. The red compliments the prehistoric images. The socks feature several cavemen: one with a bow and arrow, one with a spear, and one just standing there waiting for the other guys to bring home some food, I guess. There are also a mammoth, fire, and meat on a bone. I thought these socks were pretty great. There is a lot going on without being too busy. They are fun, detailed, and comical.
Verdict: Society Socks continues to roll out fun, quirky, and neat socks month after month. The caveman socks were fun, but I'm picking the wintery socks as my favorite. They are my style and I'll definitely be wearing them on Christmas. Even when I feel underwhelmed by this subscription – which isn't too often – it is only relative to itself. This sub is pretty consistent and usually costs less than buying two pairs at a store. If you like to show a bit of personality with your footwear, this is a good subscription for you. Even if you get a pair that you're not crazy about, they make great stocking stuffers. I definitely gave a few out as gifts this year.
It may be worth noting, I couldn't find these specific pairs in their store. But there are still many pairs to choose from. Some are marked down, so check them out.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All deliveries vary, so you are not guaranteed the same socks as what you see here.

Value Breakdown: These two pairs of socks cost $19 with FREE shipping, meaning each pair is about $9.50. Most, if not all, of the socks that subscribers receive, can be purchased directly from Society Socks. Most are $12, but some are on sale for $9. However, there IS shipping if you do it this way. I did a quick check for Pennsylvania and it was 3 extra dollars. So you're saving $8 by having the subscription, which is a decent saving. A subscription like this, in my opinion, is for people who were going to buy socks like this anyway. You have it delivered to your door, it's a little surprise, and you save some money. Otherwise, if you're concerned about getting socks you don't like, it may be best for you to purchase only the pairs you like directly from their site. You'll just have to pay a little more per pair.
