I would like more information . Single nurse who is in the process of building a new house and would like more information especially when house is finished since don’t have a regular size refrigerator. Would be interested in low carbohydrate food for one person size portions.

Lol. No. I think I can figure out how to use a toaster oven and read directions on a box. And at $12.99 per meal, that is a bit steep for many.

I absolutely love mine.

Nope. Sunbasket is cheaper and many of the meals are just as simple.

I have Tovala and really love how easy it is to use the oven – my husband hated boxes like HelloFresh and Blue Apron because he hates the preparation and cooking (gets frustrated). Tovala lets the smart oven do all the cooking and there’s basically no prep work involved.
PLUS the app makes it sooo easy to choose or switch up meals, add or subtract meals in your delivery, skip a delivery, and cancel.
For healthcare workers, there might still be a discount on the Tovala oven itself. I think I paid $150 for the oven. The meals are great and you can scan other grocery products or use the online/on-app recipes they have if you DO want to cook or bake. 100% worth it for my husband and me.

I love mine! I am disabled and live alone. The food is great quality but expensive. I can’t afford to order it often. I saved the QR codes and cook my other meals using those codes. I hate soggy microwave foods so love this for reheating leftovers and cookie pizzas etc. Its faster than a conventional oven and cooks things more evenly.

So many negative comments right off the bat; I’m glad to see that someone else likes it!
I think the people who benefit the most from Tovala are those couples who are business professionals with exposable income, no time/energy/desire to cook, and no kiddos. Otherwise it can be an occasional thing like you say, but probably parents with multiple children would not be able to utilize this in a time efficient, financially responsible manner haha.

Please. It may be worth it, although expensive – it’s all in the details, which is why a review would help all of us make a decision if it is worth it, viable, etc? Can the oven be used with your own meals you put together? I assume so, but does the smart technology become an issue?
Thanks!

Yes it can be used to make your own meals. The Tovala app even has a recipe area. You can also scan barcodes from certain grocery store brands and it automatically programs the best way to cook the product. Our first Tovala shipment arrived on October 28th, so we’ve been using it for about 6ish weeks without issues!
Before I committed to buying meals I downloaded the app and just played around with it, honestly.

How is this oven different from other toaster oven/air fryer combos (besides the scanning)?
I am not going to get one, but I am curious.

Used their service for about a year ended it earlier this year. Overall I think their service are great especially for people who live by themselves traditional 2 servings meal delivery service just don’t work for me. However I’m really just tired of their menu as their isn’t enough variety of protein choices for me.
The oven itself is a cool design but not that great in terms of quality, great and super fast customer service.

I can’t imagine cluttering my kitchen with an oven dedicated to these meals so it doesn’t appeal to me.

No. This just seems like an expensive rip off.

I’m in a love/hate relationship with mine. Pretty much keeps you tied to the company for meal deliveries as far as the scan option. States the brands that you’re supposed to be able to scan, but I’ve not found any to work. The meals so far have been very tasty just expensive. Average almost $12 each and $2.99-$4.99 for steaks or “premium” meals. S&H extra on under 6 meal orders. 🤷♀️
