That looks beautiful! I want to try this box sometime when my budget allows.

Does anyone know if this smells anything like Lollia’s Imagine?

Willow could be treated like a “little sister” and maybe even layered with it. They do both have the lotus notes and an aquatic element, though they differ a lot from there.
Imagine is more complex, a woody floral with a tropical vibe. To me it seems a little sultry and mysterious, perhaps because of the lovely vanilla note that unifies everything.
Willow and Water is fairly straightforward, a clean green, fresh aquatic floral.
I’d imagine them like two sisters – one 15 and staring wistfully over a water lily lake on the family estate, wondering when she will be allowed to date, while her older sister is having a romantic dinner with her boyfriend on a yacht docked next to a nearby tropical islet.

Jennifer, are you on Fragrantica? If not, it needs you! I’d read all of your reviews!
chris
Wow. Beautiful description! ✨
Hallie
Please tell me where I can read more of your reviews lovely.
Jenn
Wow Jennifer! This was the most beautifully poetic description I’ve read in a long time!! All of a sudden I’m looking forward to another perfume. 💜💜
Julie
Wow, I wasn’t expecting such an detailed and beautiful description!
Okay, I’m sold on this Spring box. Thank you!
Lindsey
Oh I’m so excited about this! I love when they send a full size perfume. I know some people have gotten other products in this scent, but I’ve been subscribed for a year and have yet to try it. Hopefully I like the scent!

You’ll love it. It’s my favorite after dead sexy.

I ordered this box last fall because the winter was already sold out. I’m wondering, is this a box that is worth getting every season? It seems like they give plenty of products to use and unless they have new stuff coming in, it seems it would be repetitive.

It’s a fantastic box, I got it for a year and a half and what I didn’t use made great gifts, everything they put out is beautiful. The Cottage Greenhouse and Library of Flowers lines appeal to me a lot more than the Lollia and TokyoMilk but if you aren’t familiar with all of their scents already this is a great way to try a variety of them at a discount.

I LOVE this box. It truly feels like a gift to myself. That being said, unless I give a portion of the box away, I do get product overload. I can only use so much lip balm… but despite this, I will not quit this box unless something unexpected happens. Great, beautiful products every time, gifts on hand that others truly enjoy, and it is difficult to get back on the sub list if you cancel. I know I would have fomo.

Lip balm’s not my issue since I lose them before I finish them. 🙂

Ok, I just cancelled mine so hopefully that opens up space for whoever wants it. Must mention customer service is great. I sent an email and got a reply asking if I wanted to cancel spring and get a refund. I told them no, I want spring, but cancel afterwards which they confirmed they would do.

Nat, it’s hard to subscribe because Margot Elena’s box sells out an entire season, at one point even two seasons, before the next one ships out. For example, if both the Spring and Summer boxes are sold out, and it’s only January, you’re going to have to wait until the Fall box is available for new subscribers to sign up for. So, it’s not that it’s hard to resubscribe if you unsubscribe, but that it’s hard for anybody to get on to the subscription list, period, because space is limited.
Ashleigh
To Nat: I haven’t looked recently since the price increase. I just remembered that the winter box was sold out even before the fall box shipped.
Nat
It’s difficult to get on a sub list if you cancel? What do you mean? You can sign up with no issues right now.

I think it’s worth it. All of the products are of a great quality, and there’s a good variety of scents and products in each box. I feel like it’s a good mix of new scents and old favorites – if a scent does get repeated, it’ll be on a different product (eau de perfum one box, and then hand creme a box or two later, for example). Some of the non-scented items have a retail value that feels overpriced, but they also end up being some of my favorites so go figure 🙂 They’re also really great for gifting. If you can afford the splurge, it’s totally worth it.

I have this exact perfume! I have bought it in their shop after having received either a shower gel or a body lotion in this scent. I love it. I would be happy with a different bottle just for my collection, but this is amazing anyway.
The review doesn’t mention the shipping price. Also, where is the winter box review?

I would like for ME to include a home or personal item in the box. For example the Kimono and water bottle were nice and was a nice mix to the boxes.

The last box had a home item – the soap dish. (Finally! I’ve been wanting one since box one, lol, to go with her soaps.) It also had a pretty gift tag/bookmark set, which is more stationary, but the tin it self could be repurposed to hold bookmarks, recipe cards, paperclips, etc.
The kimono itself was a bit of a miss for many because of the sizing and finicky fabric, though I like it and wear it with a belt. I would love another fashion item down the road, but I can see why they wouldn’t be in every box. I use that Turkish towel in my bathroom, though – it was probably the most useful of all the home items from the box! I love the journals, too, as they always have lovely touches inside and aren’t just an inflated rv mass produced notebook with a new cover.

Oooh, so pretty! I love the bottle. Willow and Water has come in a couple items before, like shower gel, and I do like the scent. It’s a light/fresh, watery green lotus scent. I think this might have come in a Parfum Crema before, I’ll need to check my closet.

Honestly, I hope I like the scent but it’s so pretty that I don’t care that much, haha! I love this box, even though it’s a splurge, everything always comes so nicely wrapped and it’s all so pretty.

This will be my one and only box. Signed up on black Friday just to try it out. When do I need to cancel so not to be charged for Summer? Also, there is no option to cancel on their website, is that right? You have to email them?

Audrey
Yes, you need to E-mail them to cancel.

Nat
Cool. Thanks. Just emailed them. Wish there was confirmation email that they got it.

Looks nice. I cancelled two seasons ago given the price increase. This posting doesn’t mention shipping, which wasn’t included prior.

this box really jumped the shark for me after the price hike and the shipping charge was always a deterrent 🙁

I agree, it looks nice. I couldn’t keep the subscription because of the shipping as well as the price increase. Just too much for my limited budget at this time. I also still have products I am trying to use so I don’t have to throw them away.

I finally canceled after the winter box, now I’m just hoping I don’t get FOMO 😩

Add me to the list of those who cancelled due to the price increase. This box has some good stuff in it, but it is hit or miss for me, and it was already a stretch at the previous price, especially given that they charge extra for shipping. It is definitely not worth it to me at the new price.

Same here, Lisa. I canceled due to the price increase.

Same here. Cancelled after their price increase during a pandemic – how awful of them!
