I subscribed to this box on the 1st or 2nd of January, yet I never received an order confirmation, I never received any shipping/tracking info, my account shows no orders/subscriptions and I have received no response from the company when I email them, nor when I hit “contact us” on their website (aside from the “we got your email and will respond in 3-5 business days” email).
Is anybody else having this problem? Has everyone else received their January/February box? Am I the only one having this issue?
I dont want to have to challenge the charge with my bank because that is a whole other headache altogether.
So so so frustrated.

I’m having a terrible time reaching customer service. I bought the Black Friday deal and was able to select a quantity of 3 ( hoping I’d get boxes for 3 months vs 3 of the same boxes). I emailed to clarify and never heard back, but only received one box, so I thought it worked out. But now I’ve been charged again for 3 boxes and I’ve reached out to a couple different emails and on Instagram to try to get this fixed and that won’t respond. It’s been 4 days and I don’t know how to get this cancelled. I’m not sure if something has changed with their business, but I would say Buyer Beware!

They usually send an email for you to create an account to manage subscription. I received an order confirmation email for both my subs. The latest box hasn’t shipped yet AFAIK.
See New used to ship quickly and have great customer service. I’ve yet to receive a reply to an email sent in Dec. and one a few days ago. I pay for 2 subscriptions (mine and a gift sub for my mom) so it’s disappointing. Hopefully things will improve but Idk if I’m sticking around to find out.
The only email I know worked in the past is the one from their site hello at seenewskincare dot com

Thank you for your response Anna.
I did receive my January box and two days later received an email reply stating that it was shipping out. (Pointless since I received the box before the email). Never the less, happy to have finally seen some signs of life from them. :-)~

Thanks for sharing! looks interesting, to clarify they basically show skincare routines from small businesses correct? Might need to try this!

After checking Skin Essence Organics website Now I see that their products are quite a bit lower priced than their typical boxes are. These products range from $18 to $32 a piece and they advertised a four piece skin care set for $108.00. That’s a lot less expensive than their last box. I didn’t read reviews of the products though so I don’t know if I’ll subscribe until I do that.

It is a bit lower than normal but I look at it this way…if I end up loving a product, it’s easier on the wallet lol. SkinEssence is reviewed pretty well (check out thehealthymaven for one review). I have seen it in my local Sprouts and Whole Foods Market, but I do not believe I have ever actually bought it. They have been around for ages so the products must be effective?

I wonder why the prices of the products aren’t listed. Guess I’ll go to their website and check.

I’m impressed with the curation. Its like a basic skincare routine all by the same brand all in one box. I love that. Are all of their boxes similarly curated?

Lisa
Sort of yes. You can go to their website and look at past boxes to see if you like their curations.

The rose hip seed oil is available at some Whole Foods locations (2 of the 3 in my area) in the 15ml size.

I believe the price increased January 1st to $47 and possibly some change. Glad I locked in the lower price. Excited to try this subscription as I much prefer skincare to make up and also appreciate the one vendor a month that this box seems to offer.

Clarification: the price will increase to $47 after January 3rd. Those who buy at the discounted $39.50 price will be grandfathered in.

Check the ingredients on the moisturizer, I think it is just oils, not a cream.

Nothing too exciting about the products offered but they are needed as I am low on cleanser and day cream. I love that See New brings clean indie brands to my routine, that items are bi-monthly and I am able to skip a box if I dont like/need them. Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us in 2021

I surprisingly got a response back from Skin Essence already. My question on the Nourish product….Is it a serum, oil, or cream? Where does it go in my routine? Will I still need to apply a cream afterwards or does this product offer ceramides and a cream is not needed.
Their response….The NOURISH is a three in one.It is a moisturizer, toner, and vitamin supplement for the skin all in one.
You can mix it with a cream if you prefer but most customers would use it on its own as it’s perfectly formulated that way. You will also get the Rosehip oil with the subscription that you can blend in with the NOURISH.
Lisa
Thanks Jackie, I went back to their website and it says its an oil based moisturizing serum. I wonder if this takes place of an oil and cream???? Interesting. I might contact them to see where this goes in a routine to see if I need to skip this month.

This is my favorite sub box.

Hi Donna. Could you answer a question for me about this sub box? I was wondering if they focus on one skin care vendor in each box of if you get a variety of different vendors? I like the idea of having products from one vendor to try and most of the boxes don’t do that. aIA does, but it’s not always skin care. thanks for reading.

Hi Karla- Yes, it is one brand each month. I have been subbed for a year and a half and it has always been this way. It is also always skincare. Hope that helps.
Lynn
So far it has been one featured brand in each box.
