March 10th in Louisiana and I get the scarf and hat 🙁 A month ago that would have been perfect, now it is just in the closet til next year I guess. Also got the bowls (of course), the silicone food covers, and the silicone baking sheets so overall I am happy.

So I ordered this and of course they gave me the cheapest item in every category, I got a bright neon pink swell bottle (how bad can that get, for sure if I carry this around and I will certainly will be seen), the baking mats, the bowls which everyone gets, and the silicone lids. I am very disappointed, they must have millions of those swell bottles, I would of rather the PMD thing even though I have 2 already from other sub boxes. I am an annual subscriber, but I can’t wait for this sub to end as I will not renew. I’ve had bad experiences with customer service, shipping my winter box took 3 months and I hate the spring 2021 box (forced now to choose items, none of which I want). A huge huge let down from this company and I’ve had my experience and should of listened to other complaints, so now I am just waiting to finish this sub.

Cyn

I got the exact same things, even down to the hot pink swell.
I was going to give it to my husband initially, but he declined lol

Val

My mom and I both received the identical box. 🙁 It didn’t even reach the $150 minimum value.

Reply ButtonReply

Cyn

Not sure if MSA got the value wrong or if Causebox changed the description after the fact, but on their FAQ they describe the intro box as “which includes 4 full size products valued up to $150 for only $25!”

So it says value UP to $150 now.

Dawn

This will be my first box ever with Causebox. I’m very curious what will be in mine now. I really wanted the bowls and ordered the box specifically for them so everything else is just a bonus, but advertising a minimum value of $150 seems unfair. I don’t think I will be subscribing if that’s the way they do business.

Val

Looks like it added up to $97 instead of $150.

Dawn

I’m confused. I thought there was a minimum value. I’m waiting on my box now, but the weight is very low so I’m assuming similar items. My box keeps bouncing around CA.

I’ve had amazing experiences with Causebox customer service. Very responsive and solutions oriented.

Just received mine, I got the PMD (super bummed…either of the others would be used, but this made me break out and get super oily so I have NO use for it), the bowls, silicone baking mats, and the food covers. Overall definitely worth it overall.

Honestly I was super hesitant about signing up for Causebox with all the posts about shipping delays, but I have to say I’ve been pleasantly surprised (maybe I’m the only one)! I signed up as an annual in early December. Got my winter box in mid-January and liked it way more than I thought. Purchased the intro box #1 in mid-January, which they let me customize since I was already an annual, and I got a shipping label for that today. I do think a month is quite a long time to wait but I didn’t need any of the items so I was happy to wait. If you want to receive items timely, Causebox is not the sub for you.

I also subscribe to FFF which is super hit and miss on shipping – I didn’t get Fall til 1.5 months after with items missing, whereas in Winter it was at my doorstep in less than 2 weeks.

Laura

I truly don’t understand how they can sell intro box 2#, and I’m still waiting for my freaking regular subscription box. It hasn’t even shipped!!! So frustrating, I’m regretting getting an annual. 😞

Reply ButtonReply

Penny

Hmmm…has anyone ever ordered two intro boxes before? I’m wondering if you would get the same products in both boxes if you shipped them to the same address or if certain states get certain products.

Reply ButtonReply

Tin

At one point, i ordered 5 intro boxes and they came all with the exact same contents.

Reply ButtonReply

Penny

Whoa, good to know. Thank you Tin! 😊

Molly Honey

Causebox is scammy af. Been scammy af. Nothing is new except new customers buying into this bs, unfortunately.

Reply ButtonReply

Sara

I don’t understand why you say this. They acknowledge the shipping delays right on the face of their webpage. And if you live on the west coast, you can see the ships lined up like small cities, waiting to try to unload at the ports, who are shorthanded due to COVID. And the ports full of shipping containers.

Read the news, the shipping problems are all over.

Reply ButtonReply

Cyn

And how exactly are they scammy?
Just because shipping is atrocious doesn’t make it a scam. And fyi I just signed up and they explicitly state that shipping for intro box 2 won’t even start until end of February.

I have bought previous boxes from cb and never had problems getting my items. Yes, it’s slow, but that’s sub box world for you.
I bought a gift sub for universal tums in mid-late December that still hasn’t shipped either…

Reply ButtonReply

Natalia

I don’t know, but I am beginning to think it is a darn scam. I got the sub for Winter box all the way back in November, and nada, zero. Contacted them twice, and twice got the same lame response that’s it’s “ awaiting shipment”. Don’t know what else to think.

Tracy

Those bowls are my all-time favorite Causebox product. I bought two of the intro boxes so I can have 3 sets. The other stuff is good too, but really just bonus.

I do hope I get the scarf and hat in at least one box because I think every has multiple Swell bottles at this point (they’re good bottles, but enough already) and the same goes for the PMD thing.

Anyway, this is a good value no matter what you get!

Reply ButtonReply

Joyce

I ordered three total (two from the first and one from the second) just because I love the Swell bottles so much. Still waiting on this one and hope it really does end up being another swell,

Reply ButtonReply

KateM

I am right there with you! I have 3 of the PMD devices from various subscription boxes. I do really like the floral Swell Bottle, but want the hat and scarf the most! The one downside is I may have to wait until next Winter to wear it depending on when it arrives, lol!

I wonder how they mix up the boxes? To get different items, I wonder if they ship a different box every few days or if it’s random and different items are randomly mixed in all boxes?

I absolutely loved my Winter box even though I didn’t customize anything. I’m not usually that lucky. I hope you get the items you want!

Reply ButtonReply

Vi

Still waiting for my winter box which I ordered on Black Friday.. They have serious shipping issues. Was hoping to upgrade to an annual but seems pointless at this point

Reply ButtonReply

Lizc

I wouldn’t upgrade if I were you even with the selection. I’m trying to get rid of mine. With all the boxes they are continuing to sell it’s pretty clear there is no way Spring is going out in March.

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Can I order this and customize if I already am an annual, or is this only a promo for new subscribers?

Reply ButtonReply

Chantel

Nope not this time I tried

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Ahh, thanks. I’d be really tempted if I could customize, but I don’t need to pick up a second annual.

Mieke

You can order, but they generally won’t let you customize them when you’re annual. You can try e-mailing, but they normally say they don’t have enough inventory for it.

Reply ButtonReply

Carol

I wish I knew that I wouldn’t get that face scrubber thing lol. I like everything else. I have no interest in an annual subscription. Oh well lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Shannon

I was going to sign up for the annual to get the customization just to make sure I got the face scrubber. Are you saying they aren’t available anymore? I ordered the $25 box but you can’t customize and I really want to try the brush. Guess I’ll cancel and wait to sign up after the spring box starts then.

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

I bought both Intro boxes. Yes, shipping takes forever, but I don’t mind. Unless it’s for gifts for a certain date, as long as I receive everything I had paid for – I am all right with a long wait.

I have 2 sets of these bowls – I love them so much!

Reply ButtonReply

SquirrelyGirl

I love those bowls! I am tempted to get the intro box to get a second set. I also don’t mind waiting, except if I get the planner, then I will be semi- annoyed. I am an annual, but for some reason my choices are all screwed up. I chose the foot masks, but it shows the “we will pick for you” blurb. I also chose the earrings but it shows the coasters, and the plastic replacing ziploc bags shows baking sheets instead. I’m not sure what happened on their end, but it is what it is.

Reply ButtonReply

Izzie

Seeing another intro box is irking me. They are far behind the shipping of the regular winter boxes and I just assume there are all the winter intro boxes -version 1- that will need to be shipped as well.
Now, they are increasing the backlog adding winter intro v.2 (with the beanie and scarf that probably will be delivered in April given their history), so when will they start shipping spring? In may? Why trying to sell more boxes when they don’t have the capabilities to fulfill orders in a somehow timely-manner?

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn

I just ordered my 1st intro box because the bowls are SO pretty. I did not subscribe as an annual member, but I would love to get the hat and toner. Does anyone know if I can order a 2nd intro box and if so, will they vary the items (hope to increase my chances) or will they send 2 duplicate boxes?

Reply ButtonReply

Jessica

There is a causebox users Facebook page, and it sounds like people who bought several boxes often got identical boxes. Someone suggested its based on geographical location. The only way to get the items is to,do an annual…

Reply ButtonReply

Joyce

Yeah I didn’t think my stuff had gone through due to internet issues. Now I have two boxes coming and hope they have different things but figure they will be identical 🙁

Dawn

Thank you so much! I really like all of the spoilers so I’ll be mostly happy anyway. Assuming I won’t get the cute hat though since I live in FL 🤣

tetiana

Does anyone know when they would charge for the spring box if you ordered this intro box?

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

Not if you cancel before March 1.

Reply ButtonReply

Mimi

Rip bought another sub becuz of the bowls.

Reply ButtonReply

Lizc

I sent in a response but it doesn’t seem to be posted. I still haven’t received my market order from November. This company has serious shipping issues and their customer service is not helpful. They remind me of Oui Please. They are blaming covid for shipping issues however their issues go back a couple years so it seems as if they have other issues. If you go to their facebook site you will see a lot of unhappy people posting about the shipping and quality of items

Reply ButtonReply

SquirrelyGirl

I’ve been with Causebox for about a year and a half and this is the first time they’ve had shipping issues in that time. I’m cutting them some slack, because I know it will eventually arrive. Oui Please is a whole different story. I definitely would NOT put them in the same category as Causebox.

Reply ButtonReply

Mika

I immediately ordered just for the bowls and the swell bottle.

Reply ButtonReply

Pilar

They haven’t even shipped the first Winter Welcome box so if anyone order. Intro box #2 you will be waiting for a while.

Reply ButtonReply

Cynthia

I haven’t even had my regular winter box shipped. This company has serious shipping issues. They need to stop with all the intro boxes and ship what’s already been ordered!

Reply ButtonReply

Lin

So excited about this deal!
I loooove those bowls and didn’t have any luck swapping for more so that I can grow my set.
My renewal was due so I just started a new annual sub and will be receiving this intro box for free. I was also able to pick the items which I didn’t expect! Picked the toner, adorable beanie hat and pillowcase. 🙂
Now I’m tempted to get a second intro box at $25…

Reply ButtonReply

Sarah

How did you receive the intro box for free?

Reply ButtonReply

Lin

My annual subscription came to an end and was set to renew for a whole year for the Spring box. I cancelled that, then I went to their homepage to order the intro box 2. They make it free with a 3 seasons membership (149.99 for the next 3 boxes as annual membership plus the intro box 2 included for free).

Doreen

I believe you have to sign up for an annual to get it for free, otherwise it is $25 for seasonal members and it auto-renews so make sure you cancel if you just want this intro box!

Alice

It’s free with an annual purchase. The MSA post doesn’t note that.

Snow

Man, that pmd cleaner shows up a lot! I for one don’t need a battery operated device to clean my face….that’s what hands are for 😂

Reply ButtonReply

Cheryl

I love the PMD. Use it every day and in the shower. Got one for my son who has breakouts and he loves it. Getting another one in the Winter Intro 2 Box for my daughter. ❤️

Reply ButtonReply

Alice

Agree. The PMD is the most useless item I’ve ever received. I hated it.

Reply ButtonReply

LB

I thought the same thing but it does seem to be helping with my breakouts because it helps clean out pores better and almost exfoliates too. It does show up in alot of boxes though…lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Snow

A glycolic acid toner and a niacinamide + zinc serum has really helped me with my acne issues (along with tretinoin.) It can be such a struggle though!

Alice

I got the pillowcase in my winter box. It’s fabulous.

Reply ButtonReply

Nu

I ordered the Winter Intro #1 and still have not gotten it yet.

Reply ButtonReply

Kelly

This is a great looking box! Especially for that price!
