Dia & Co is a monthly plus-size clothing subscription box that is personally curated for you by a Dia stylist. Upon enrolling with Dia & Co, I filled out an extensive survey asking me about my clothing size/weight/height, price range, and also my style likes, and dislikes. Every month my stylist selects 5 items that could be clothes or accessories to try out. If I like them, I have the option of buying them. There is a $20.00 per month service fee, but the fee can be applied to any purchases I opt to make. A 25% discount is applied if I chose to keep all 5 items too!

The items in my box are chosen personally for me dependent and reflective of my style and price preference, so the package you receive from Dia & Co may be entirely different than mine!

FYI, COVID-19 Update:

Dia & Co December 2020 Review

That Dia & Co envelope I look forward to seeing every month now comes as a sleeve so you can pull out the message and attached invoice. Wild! Looks rather chic, I must say! Also included is the free return shipping envelope as well.

Enclosed is another awesome message from my stylist, Kristin S.! She provided a few styling tips, but also gave me handy info on options for outfit bundles, daily steals, and to check out the new arrivals on the Dia & Co site as well!

The other form is an invoice that has a detailed list of the brand, name, color, size, and price of each item she selected for me along with the grand total after the styling fee and 25% off (if I opt to keep all five items) is applied. My prices aren't listed, so this form is a bit inaccurate. The total would be $301.50. After the $20 styling fee and 25% is applied my balance for the entire box would be $211.12! The savings would be $90.38 if I did decide to keep everything! That savings would be like getting the Jessica Simpson jeans and Molly&Isadora leggings for free  -- that's pretty fantastic!

Alex Puff Sleeve by Vero Moda, Size 2x — Retail Value $69.00

Holiday seasons are usually extremely busy and filled with glitz and glamour! This year was a significantly tamer and calmer one being spent at home, but it doesn't mean we still can't get gussied up on holidays and everyday, right? This black dress is subdued compared to some of my sequin drenched holiday stunners, but I love this sophisticated number. The dress is not as structured as I expected it to be-- the material is a light, but very stretchy cotton with ruching on the sides. The puff sleeves are everything, are they not? I opted to add my standard touch of kitsch by styling this dress with some killer retro Pink ceramic tree style acrylic earrings I got for Christmas from RebsRainbowHaus and some fabulous mules from Torrid. I can also imagine this looking stunning with a pearl bracelet, statement earrings, black gloves, pointy black heels, and a big top bun for a modern day Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's look! Chic or kitschy-- you can't loose with this versatile show stopper!

Georgina Half Sheer Top by Ryan Wylde, Size 2x— Listed Value $55.00

I was so eager to see this be included in this month's box. It is so classic-- it legitimately reminds me of something I would have seen my mom wear in my baby pics in the early 80s. Everything from the dotted sheer material on the sleeves and front and back yoke to the ruffle details to the mock neck has me sold! I appreciate my stylist, Kristin, sending this to me in the gorgeous creamy white style (it is offered in a beautiful black as well) because I was in need of a white top. This is such a versatile piece that will look stellar with a simple pair of denim jeans and flats (like I have on) or tucked in a pencil skirt with heels on at the office. The fit is great too since the majority of the top is made of a stretchy, comfortable, knit fabric. I am pleased as punch to add this piece to my closet.

Clinton Boyfriend Jeans by Jessica Simpson, Size 22 — Listed Value $59.50

I notoriously gravitate towards jeans with incredibly high waists and skinny legs with a dark or black rinse, so this pair is a bit of a departure for your girl! The rinse is a tad lighter than I like, but it isn't too shabby. The waist isn't as high as I prefer as well, but it is do-able. I don't feel like my dupa is exposed in these like so many other lower rise jeans. The slightly flared leg-- I don't mind it either. Would I have chosen these for myself-- probably not, but I would wear these for a change of pace for sure. Take that as a positive remark since I am immensely particular, my friends! These jeans will look great with everything from a striped t-shirt, blazer, and sneaker combo for a comfortable and stylish errand run or for my go-to vintage band or novelty shirt, cheetah print flats, and a faux leather biker jacket.

Arrie Plus Size Fleece - Lined Leggings By Molly&Isadora , Size 2x/3x — Retail Value $29.00

I was initially doubtful about these leggings. I had a poor experience with fleece lined leggings from Lane Bryant years ago. The fit was terrible and left me leery to attempt trying another pair after that experience. However, this has been a strange year, so I figured I would take a chance on these Molly&Isadora ones. Well, I am VERY glad I gave them a whirl-- these are amazing! First- the fit is fantastic. These have loads of stretch, but have an incredibly high waist that covers my butt and belly perfectly. The fleece material makes these incredibly warm and cozy. I can wear these alone with a sweater on my occasional grocery runs without a worry that the material is too sheer! You can't tell, but fabric has a geometrical pattern on the fabric. You really don't notice it unless you have them on since the leggings stretch, but obviously it isn't too obvious and doesn't clash with pieces. Wear these with a sweatshirt and sneakers for a brisk walk or with loafers and a sweater like I did for a casual, yet stylish look!

Raquel Plus Size Reversible Faux Fur Coat, Size 3x — Retail Value $99.00, On Sale for $39.00

If you are late to the Nicole review party, then you might not be aware of my longstanding love affair with anything and everything animal print. When I saw this coat, I couldn't resist adding to it to my three selections this month! Yes, it is leopard print, but OMG-- it is reversible! This makes it is likea  2fer-- what a deal at $99, but even moreso at the sale price of $39 on the site currently! That is like getting two jackets for $20 dollars a piece! I love a versatile piece!

First I will show you the jacket modeled as a black coat with faux fur accents. How cute is this? This is for when you just want a touch of sass while shopping at the grocery store. And check it out-- this side has pockets! I like that this side of the coat has a bit of sporty vibe. The coat is rather lightweight, but will keep you quite warm!

Now for the full on leopard print reveal! How can you go wrong with a leopard print coat? This cut and style doesn't have the vintage longer length I usually prefer, it is a bit of a mid range since it is not cropped either, if that makes sense? The faux fur has a silkier texture than say a fleece or fuzzy fabric. I love it simply paired with jeans and a sweater, but this will add pizzazz to the most casual ensemble!

Verdict: This month's Dia & Co was rather eclectic and a nice way to go into 2021.  I absolutely love the Alex Puff Sleeve dress and the leggings and coat from Molly&Isadora that I chose, but Kristin truly nailed it with the items she sent my way as well! That top by Ryan Wylde is going to look fantastic with everything from palazzo pants, jeans, or a mini skirt and tights. I love collaborating with my stylist like this-- I feel as though Kristin has a true sense of what appeals to me!  I have said it before and I will say it again: the best thing Dia & Co started offering was the ability to select three of the five items in their monthly subscription box. Not only do I get my fix of shopping for myself, but it gives my stylist a sense of my personal style. I also strongly recommend always providing feedback on your style boxes, "hearting" items you like, and sending an updated Pinterest board link to your stylist when you can. It builds a rapport between you and your stylist and creates a mood board of your fashion tastes! Also, Dia & Co not only offers styling box services for clothing, active wear, and not intimate pieces (I just noticed this recently and am so excited), but you can also purchase items from the site separately! That's right--you can shop and buy items outright from the site without getting the subscription box if that is your preference! I love to see so many catered options, don't you? And all of these choices can be delivered directly to your door stop-- what isn't there to love?

The selections this round were fantastic, but I cannot wait to see what 2021 has to offer (on a variety of levels!). Are you as excited as me to see what I get in my next Dia & Co box?

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Dia & Co curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you! Also, take advantage of their option for you to pin pieces and select up to three items for your monthly box as well!

Value Breakdown: This box has a $20.00 styling fee and includes free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside is $311.50. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 25% discount. The $20.00 styling fee for the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $188.63 for the whole box (factoring in that steeply discounted sale price for the faux fur coat!). Ultimately, that is roughly a 39% discount.

What a great box for you, Nicole! I would have never thought that Little House on the Prairie top was your style but I get it from your narrative. And that jacket is just, well, everything. Fleece-lined leggings sound so cozy and look amazing on you. I wouldn’t be caught dead in that dress but that’s why it’s not hanging in *my* closet. 😉

The only piece that really stood out for me was the jacket (leopard print out, of course). I just wish they had made the closure the same for the leopard side because the giant black stripe looks unfinished (or that you are wearing the jacket the wrong way out). Such a shame, because the jacket had so much potential.
