Your Bijoux Box "I Heart U" February 2021 Review

Our collection this month is called "I Heart U" and it contains a romantic combination of 18k rose gold plating and genuine garnets. It looks like our bonus item got changed this month, which is noted on the card we received.
All of the pieces arrived in their own separate little bag. These pouches are so cute and super soft making them a great way to protect your jewelry when traveling!

I Heart You! Necklace - Listed Value $79.00
While this necklace could come across as too cutesy, I think that the more abstract style of the hearts adds a bit of sophistication to it. I really love the combination of the rose gold and the garnets and it certainly is a unique design that is so fitting of a February box. This necklace has the adjustable slide that I've come to love from Your Bijoux Box because it is so easy to put on and it means you can get the perfect fit.

Here you can see it worn shorter and longer. It's unlike anything I own and I think it's a great festive piece without overdoing it.

I Heart You! Cuff - Listed Value $68.00
This open cuff is adjustable and again features the cute teardrop-shaped garnets that mimic little hearts. I like how thin and delicate the cuff is, and just like the necklace, this bracelet feels like a piece you could wear any time instead of being tied specifically to Valentine's Day. Especially with the asymmetrical design.

I Heart You! Ring - Listed Value $85.00
Our last piece is also adjustable, this time in the form of a cute wrap-around ring. The garnets almost remind me of tiny leaves in this piece and I like that I can wear the sides lined up or kind of stack the sides on top of one another for a completely different look. While I love that the ring is adjustable, these aren't always my favorite because of the way they get caught in my hair and clothing. This one has a pretty low profile though, so it doesn't seem like it would prove to be too much of an obstacle!

Since my fingers tend to swell and shrink this time of year, I appreciate that the ring can adjust easily for that purpose!
Here you can see how the bracelet and ring are similar, but not exactly alike since the one side has the inverted teardrop shape.

Bonus: Peach Moisturizing Lip Masks
Our bonus gift this month was a set of lip masks. These are peach-infused and had a very light peach scent to them. I can never get these gel-like lip masks to stay on very well but my kids got a huge kick out of me wearing it. I got a kick out of the note on the packaging that reads "Please keep it in a cool, ventilated and dry place that is difficult for children to avoid." Something must have gotten lost in translation, and it gave me a giggle (after I read it twice trying to understand!). The mask itself was pretty nourishing and it made my lips nice and supple, with a slight plumping effect. I couldn't find a reliable source for these online, so I'm not sure of the retail value, but I do feel like these were more of an actual bonus this month instead of a full item.
The Verdict: Your Bijoux Box went for a super festive collection this month and I really loved the combination of the rose gold and deep red garnets. It was pretty and romantic and while it was a great collection for February, the more abstract nature of the heart shapes made it feel like a collection that isn't specific to Valentine's Day. The pieces worked nicely together and the fact that every piece was adjustable means that all subscribers will be able to achieve the perfect fit with their pieces. I also enjoyed the bonus item this month and I'm looking forward to using my second lip mask! The total listed value of these pieces comes to $216, which is good for a $49.99 (with free shipping) box. I prefer to break it down by piece, which makes each of them just over $16, which is definitely a good deal!
