Bespoke Post "Off Duty" Review

The box comes with a card to let you know what's in the box. On the back are instructions for stretches to help you keep limber and relaxed in your new loungewear.

Bread & Boxers Melange Long Sleeve Crew Neck - Retail Value $34.95

This shirt is very soft and stretchy, but a form fit. It is 94% Organic Cotton and 6% elastane. I typically wear a medium, but wish I had gone a size up for maximum comfort. It's OK for standing up straight in photos, but the moment I sit down, it's tight against my stomach. Maybe that says more about my body than the shirt size. I like the fit otherwise, but a bigger shirt would have been better for lounging.

Bread & Boxers Lounge Pant - Retail Value $59.95

These pants are definitely the main article of this box. I've been wearing them all weekend, and I might just go for the whole week. Believe it or not, I've never owned any sweatpants or the like. So my wife was a little surprised I picked this set, but I'm loving them. They are 100% Organic Cotton. The have two side pockets, plus one in the back. It has a ribbed drawstring waist and ankle cuffs. The site offers them in grey and olive, but I'm very happy Bespoke Post was offering them in navy. They are great for around the house or, like the site says, on your way to the gym. Unlike the shirt, I'm really happy with the medium fit. My only tiny complaint is my phone falls out of the pocket very easily. Even simply bending over to pick up after my kids, which means it happens 100 times a day.

Verdict: This is my second Bespoke Post review, but the first time I am reviewing the items I chose, which is a cool option the subscription allows for. The shirt and pant combo is so comfy, I'm having trouble wearing anything else. Normally I would have liked a choice of colors, but found the grey and navy combo perfect. It just looks the comfiest, right? The shirt is great, but not overly special in my opinion. So the pants are my favorite item, but I guess they sort of go hand in hand. This box clocks in at $94.90, which feels like a lot to me for loungewear. However, subscribers are getting it for less than half price, which is much more manageable. You're basically paying about $22.50 for each item. I only wish I had invested in some good loungewear earlier. It makes staying home so much more desirable.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes. Or you can pick from one of several rotating boxes.

I signed my 25 year old son up for this and picked this for his first shipment. Still waiting for him to try it on. Signed up after reading reviews here and figured I could grab stuff if he didn’t want it.

He picked the duffel bag for March, so it’s promising that he wanted to choose something. I was hoping for the fajita kit.

The fajita one looks so great. I almost went with it, but I start thinking about how much I’d actually use it versus the space it would take up in my kitchen. They also have a wok set-up I thought about getting called “sizzle.” I’m not sure which duffel bag you mean, but I love a good bag and Bespoke as a lot of good ones. Thanks for commenting.

When I initially saw these on Bespoke Post, I thought “meh”; I’ll pass. But after seeing a close-up of the pants and the way they fit on you, I’ve changed my mind. Thanks for the review!

I read these reviews so enviously as a non- American. Hope they start shipping international soon!

Props to MSA for hiring a male writer for reviews of things like men’s clothes again! Really ups the usefulness.

I was very tempted to pick this one, but I went with “Downpour”, the rain jacket, for my youngest son, for the month of March. I skipped February.

I was tempted to get this one for me but I don’t think it would fit. Wish bespoke would extend the sizing forward women. Beth – let us know what you think of the raincoat, it looks nice! Carlos looking forward to your review of downpour!

BG, I absolutely agree with you about having women’s sizes, too. I will certainly attach my review to Carlos’ review, although I have no clue when my youngest son will be home to receive his gift 🎁.

I, too, choose “Downpour” for March. Let’s let each other know how we feel about it. Thanks for commenting.

I’m with you about loungewear costing more than it should but hopefully that means that it is of good quality that will last.
Bespoke Post has had great customer service for me in the past, you could see if you could exchange the shirt for a larger size.

Interesting. Maybe I will send them a message and see if they are willing to switch. Thanks for the heads up and thanks for commenting.
