Society Socks Men's Review March 2021
Society Socks always comes with a card, which typically informs subscribers of charities it is supporting. This month there is a word search, which if you complete and post on social media will enter you for a chance to win a free pair of socks.
As for the socks, each month, subscribers receive two pairs of socks each featuring Society Socks' own designs. Usually, one pair will have a quirkier design and the other will be more abstract. All Society Socks pairs are made with a cotton, nylon, and spandex blend. There's no extra cushioning on the sole, so they're more like formal socks in that regard. The socks come up around 2/3 to my knee. I am 5'9".
Colored Stripes Socks, Estimated Value $12.00 (based on similar socks)
These socks remind me of a child's shirt or maybe clothing you'd see on Sesame Street. They're playful and fun. They're gray socks with sets of colored stripes of red, yellow, and blue. The same blue is found on the top, heel, and toe accents. I feel like I say this every month, but I've never been so certain that my wife will steal these socks. I should start asking her to write these reviews.
Ducks Socks, Estimated Value $12.00 (based on similar socks)
Last month we got a pair with penguins on them. This month it's ducks. A blue sock with dark blue accents at the top, heel, and toe. Yellow ducks with orange bills are scattered about. I like the color of these socks a lot. I could take or leave the ducks, but at least they are cute. With the first day of Spring upon us, I think these would be a great pair to wear to commemorate the occasion.
Verdict: Society Socks continues its streak of great socks. This month was very much on the playful side. I'm picking the colorful striped socks as my favorite this month. I feel certain I had a shirt with that design when I was six. The duck socks are nice – and again, I really like the color – but they weren't for me personally. Having said that, there is always someone in your life that will appreciate socks that don't fit your style. We all wear socks. We all have different personalities. So you're bound to find the right person to give the socks to. Socks from this subscription are a great way to flash a little personality in an otherwise unexpected place. Unrelated, writing this review made me realize how close the "d" and "f" keys are on the keyboard.
Note: Recently, the socks received in this subscription have not shown up in Society Socks's store. Perhaps they will be there in the future. Until then, there are still many pairs to choose from. Some are marked down, so check them out.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? All deliveries vary, so you are not guaranteed the same socks as what you see here.

Value Breakdown: These two pairs of socks cost $19 with FREE shipping, meaning each pair is about $9.50. Most, if not all, of the socks that subscribers receive, can be purchased directly from Society Socks. Most are $12.00, but some are on sale for $9.00. However, there IS shipping if you do it this way. I did a quick check for Pennsylvania, and it was 3 extra dollars. So you're saving $8.00 by having the subscription, which is a decent savings. A subscription like this, in my opinion, is for people who were going to buy socks like this anyway. You have it delivered to your door, it's a little surprise, and you save some money. Otherwise, if you're concerned about getting socks you don't like, it may be best for you to purchase only the pairs you like directly from their site. You'll just have to pay a little more per pair.
