Here is the info sheet they included for the box.

Boscia Papaya and Pomegranate Enzyme Exfoliating Body Cleanser, 8 oz – Retail Value $35.00

I am a big Boscia fan, so I was excited that Trendmood offered this box that features the newly released body care line from the brand. Right off the bat, I love the blue color of this packaging. I usually use body scrubs to exfoliate, so I was pleasantly surprised with how effective the chemical exfoliants in this formula were. Along with papaya and pomegranate enzymes, this also has mandelic and lactic acid, and it made a noticeable difference in the softness of my legs. To dispense the product, you twist the top of the bottle up and a hole will open for the slippery gel texture to come through. A little bit goes a long way, and I appreciate that the bottle was easy to squeeze. The one thing I didn’t love was the scent-- it smelled fruity and a bit perfumey, but not in a sweet way.

The packaging of the body products is recyclable and they are made with reduced packaging. A tag with this information was attached to both the body cleanser and serum, and the tag was made of wildflower seeds and recycled paper.

Boscia Peptide Youth-Restore Firming Body Serum, 8 oz – Retail Value $35.00

Even though this is called a serum, it has the texture of a thin lotion rather than the serum you would put on your face. I was impressed with the level of hydration given how lightweight it was. The formula features peptides, niacinamide, squalane, and ginger root extract, and it has a light citrus scent from the orange and bergamot oils. This body serum also has the nifty twist top cap that the body cleanser has, and I love the vibrant seafoam green packaging.

Boscia Prebiotic + Probiotic Freshening All-Over Body Deodorant, 2 oz – Retail Value $25.00

This deodorant is free from aluminum, talc, alcohol, and baking soda, and instead uses the “good” bacteria of prebiotics and probiotics along with kaolin clay, arrowroot, and lemon oil to prevent odor-causing bacteria. This isn’t just for your under-arms, either-- it is safe to use all over your body. The texture is creamy but dries matte on my skin, and I think I’ll be using this on my inner thighs when I wear dresses and it's muggy outside (so about 9 months out of the year). This does have a light lemon scent that I found pleasant, but I would advise caution if your skin is sensitive to citrus oils.

Boscia Fruit Acid Smoothing Foot Peel, 1 pair – Retail Value $18.00

By pure chance, I happened to try this foot peel a few weeks ago, so I can give a pretty thorough review. This foot peel breaks down rough and tough layers of skin thanks to the potent blend of fruit extracts, alpha hydroxy acids, and plant-based alcohol. For best results: put the booties on after taking a bath or doing a foot soak to soften the skin, and then wear the booties for ninety minutes (I put on thick socks over mine). After a few days, the dead skin will start to peel off. I followed these instructions, and these are the first foot peels I have tried that actually caused the skin to peel! It was grossly satisfying, and I was immensely pleased. I am excited to do this again and have my feet be soft and smooth, but I am going to wait another week or two just to make sure I don’t accidentally overdo it and hurt myself.

Boscia Hand Sanitizer, 1.86 oz – Retail Value $9.00

Hand sanitizer isn’t something that excites me as much anymore now that we are a year into the pandemic, but I can’t deny this is still incredibly useful to have handy. I like that the nozzle sprays out a fine mist over my skin, and this is made with 80% alcohol to meet FDA standards.

Verdict: I love Boscia, and this was a great curation of some of their newer releases (the three body products are brand new and the foot peel is relatively new-- it was released in the past year). Trendmood is really establishing a niche in the beauty box world by offering new releases in their curated boxes, and I am officially a hardcore fan. For this box, in particular, all of the Boscia products performed well for me, and I love that the cost of the entire box was less than the body cleanser or serum. Value-wise, everything adds up to $122, which is great for the $32 cost of the box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you order today? No, this one has sold out.

Value Breakdown: At $32 for this box, here is what you are paying per item:

  • Body Cleanser: $9.18
  • Body Serum: $9.18
  • Deodorant: $6.56
  • Foot Peel: $4.72
  • Sanitizer: $2.36

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

I got this box, and kind of wish I got a second one! My daughter loves the body cleanser, as it has cleared up her body acne without irritating her skin. That alone is the cost of the box, but I may have to continue to purchase it because it worked that well. I loved the deodorant, and thought it worked really well (but also I’ve been using natural deodorants for a couple years) and I liked the scent. It’s a good idea to save for summer when I’m wearing shorts and need a buffer on my thighs! I keep the sani spray in my purse for a quick spritz on my mask, or on my hands, anything. The probiotic lotion was my least favorite, just because it felt funky on my hands. Not quite a lotion or a gel. But I will use it on my legs and see how that goes. Foot peel will be interesting, can’t wait to try it.

Thanks for the review. I haven’t opened the deodorant. I thought it was a spray. Not sure if I will use it.
This was the first box that I could actually get thru to purchase after all the releases.

Thanks for the review Jessica – I haven’t tried any of the items in my box yet but am super excited to do so, especially after reading your review. I was so pleased to see TM offer a box focused on body care, something often overlooked in the sub box world. I will use every single item in this box!
