Man I want to resub but just can’t pull the trigger. Its been months of awful box after box. Come on, day cream with no SPF? What a waste. Trying to layer moisturizer under sunscreen creates a gooey mess, especially under makeup. I wish companies would figure that out and add SPF to all day creams. I could use a good mineral sunscreen as well. Please Beauty fix, go back to your old ways so I can resub! The wander mascara is hilarious. I have gotten like 10 of those and they all go to my family.

Just received my box and a major disappointment. No mascara, no ExfoliKate. Hard to see any value in this order. Long-term Dermstore buyer and Beautyfix subscriber and I am canceling immediately.

I’ve been a subscriber for several years and agree, sizes of products used to be larger but I still love it! I actually like getting sample sizes because then I don’t feel as wasteful when I trash something I don’t like.

I’m a long time Beautyfix subscriber, but am very disappointed in the April box. It has 3 tiny samples, which is so substandard compared to previous boxes. Hopefully next month will be an improvement from this box.

I just got my box and it is awesome! The cream is not just full size but a GREAT size! and love the feel on my skin. We got two and half full sizes. I say a half because that sample size for Kate Summerfield is a big size for a sampler and I love washing my face with it. The mascara I mean who doesn’t like mascara is a full size. Not sure why the complaints. This is a great box!

Then if it’s that big of a deal don’t subscribe to boxes unless they are specifically cruelty free.

Because if it’s made in China (often also listed as PRC) they test on animals. Many don’t agree with that.

I gotta say I’ve been a very long time subscriber to beautyfix box and never thought the box was “lacking”, but it seems like that past few months the box has been less impressive than normal. Is it just me or does anyone else get the same feeling?

That moisturizer looks great, actually. It has ceramides and peptides, and NO fragrance, which is a nice change in a beauty box. Deciding whether to pull the trigger, as I’d be getting it for the moisturizer and the mascara.

I would be tempted if the moisturizer was in a tube or pump. I’m ok with a sample in a jar, but a full size that you’ll be opening every night for a few months (yes, I know it’s a ‘day’ cream, but for me it would be a night cream since it has no SPF) just grosses me out. I felt this way even before the pandemic. Just an old lady phobia, I guess, but i’m too lazy to use a spatula. (Disclaimer- I’m not a current BeautyFix subscriber, but I AM a former one).

I received my box and the day cream comes with a spatula, so no need to use your fingers!

I was a 5 year decated subscriber to Beautyfix. It was the best skincare box . Boy did it fall hard. I had to cancel. I still keep up with the box to see if they will get back on track. I will glad resub if I see they are going back to the way it use to be. If anyone has a suggestion of a good beauty box. I would love to try it.

BF was one of my first subs and became a favorite. I cancelled when the downhill slide began for me, about a year and change ago. While the Mile High is my favorite mascara, no way would I purchase a one-off with the shipping charge. Nothing beats Ipsy Plus imho.

I already cancelled this a year ago but I keep up to see if things have changed. They haven’t. To me this is the worst box. Tiny samples, very few products. I wonder if they’ll let me cancel again? 😜 By they way, do some of these initial comments sound like Dermatore staff??

I can assure you that I don’t work for Dermstore. I pay full price for my box like everyone else. I just happen to be excited about the products this month. I don’t find that strange at all. What I do find a little strange is that you seem to think this box is so terrible that not a soul in the world would actually be excited for it. I also find it strange when people who don’t actually sub to a box feel the need to comment on it and poo poo people who do subscribe to the box. But hey, maybe I am the weird one! Who knows, and more importantly, who cares? 🙂

So excited for this month. I don’t know how I have missed receiving that Kate Somerville cleanser with all the boxes I subscribe to but I have always wanted to try it. I am also always up for a new tinted SPF because I wear one every single day and I love mascara too, it’s my favorite thing to try. My face is also BONE DRY lately due to a new leave on gel exfoliator I’ve been using to try and clear up my acne so this moisturizer sounds like an ultra rich dream. Excellent month for me!

Agreed. That wander beauty mascara is the best hands down, but a tiny neck sample and sunscreen just don’t cut it. Man, I can’t remember the last time I received a beautyfix box and they used to be one of my favorites.
