It’s likely there will be a choice between 2 of these, but I’m not sure which (most likely the 2 Walter items).
Walter Baker Tulum Caftan in Tropical Print, One Size – $198 value
Rachel Zoe Tote Bag in Natural – $105 value
Melinda Maria Moon & Stars Necklace
OneKind Golden State Nourishing Facial Oil Carrot Seed + Rosehip – $45 value
Marc Jacobs Re(Cover) Hydrating Coconut Lip Oil – $29 value
Walter Baker Cozumel Towel in Cream with Black Stripe – $110 value

I think your right the the towel or kaftan will be the two choice items. But really hoping that the bag is the choice item. Really don’t want another bag. Also love both Walter Baker items. Here’s to hoping we are wrong and the necklace or handbag is a choice item.

At the price point I don’t really need any one size fits most clothing/wraps that I’ll be swallowed by. I have enough baggy clothes to last a lifetime. I really love the accessories in the boxes but not really interested in some interpretive wrap/scarf clothing personally.

I’m intrigued, but I also still have that green palm print wrap dress thingy hanging in my closet, having never been worn, haha.
I’d love a pretty maxi skirt or harem pants, though.

I wore mine once, for a few minutes, and was forbidden from ever wearing it again by my husband. He found it to be so offensively unattractive that he couldn’t even pretend to find it palatable.

Too funny. My husband made a similar decree about the BB Dakota poncho wrap I got from FFF a few years ago. He said I looked like Clint Eastwood.
Donna
I wear mine with black leggings and a black tank. Still love it!

I hope it’s not another wrap or hopefully not another bag

I’m trying to picture what I’d be excited to see in this box. Maybe a lightweight silk/cotton skirt that is reversible and had different unique prints (or a solid to a floral). Where the tie around the waist could be adjusted and the length was a midi so various heights could wear it.
There still might need to be a size variation. Darn Good Yarn makes something similar and they call out their Sari Skirt.

I have one of their sari skirts! They did take my color notes into account, but a little too much, as they picked one with various colors together and it ended up being a *very* bold blue, yellow, and red combo. But since it’s reversible, I can wear it with the solid red the main skirt with the blue/yellow print peeking out below. I call it my Supergirl skirt since it looks like superhero colors, lol.
I’m not sure they would work well for beach skirts though, even the shorter version, as the fabric is very delicate – and they make them from used fabric to begin with. So it’s more a dressy/event skirt than one that would hold up well for travel or sand.

I would buy it for that! I have a sari skirt, and love wearing it in summer — so light and swishy.

Carol
I love those skirts!

I’ve never tried one but in my head I’d wear one everyday 😂

I am thinking maxi dress/skirt or loungewear: Jumper/ Romper. I would be really happy to see something like that!!!

I hope it’s not a sarong or wrap, those are so overdone. Something with sleeves of some sort would be awesome. I really liked the white Bindya coverup they did a few years ago.
Reply
Susan
I love the Bindya top! I went to Disney World last week and brought it with me. I went for a spa appointment and wore it tucked into the front of my cut off shorts and threw my bathing suit in a tote bag and I was ready for the pool right after. I’ve got so much use out of that, and it still looks great.

Yes! I love that too… I wear it as a blouse with the front tucked into shorts & the back left out. It’s such a great summer piece!

I agree. I wear that coverup every summer!

If you were the VP of Marketing for these subscription boxes wouldn’t you come to this site and read our comments? Maybe listen to the criticism and make changes plus send any suggestions about curation to the pertinent department to carry out!

Something to keep in mind is that the options of MSA readers might not match the options of the average subscriber. Rachel Zoe has 3.5 million Instagram followers I’m sure a lot of the people subbed to this box are subbed because they are Rachel fans who only get this box because it’s hers and their feedback may be entirely different than what people on this site have to say.

I think they are definitely aware of the feedback in these comments. This website has been promoting Curateur hard which tells me they have some sort of partnership. Even when the box items are not good they generally get positive reviews on this site (I am referring to the actual posts, not the comments). The boxes are getting worse in my opinion so clearly they haven’t been taking the feedback to heart, unlike FFF which seems to do a better job at adapting to customer feedback.

A tropical print sarong/wrap. Probably in rayon. Probably with done kind of trim that will make it hand washa only.
I’m not sure what else they could do as far as clothing as it needs to be one size fits most.

Amy
Rayon that they’ll brand as “vegan silk.”

Monique
I laugh but you’re spot on! Vegan leather is my pet peeve. Just call it pleather.

I guess a caftan with a tropical print. That would be lovely.

Probably the same sarong/scarf thingy that will be in FabFitFun’s summer box. LOL

Oh gee… a tropical print wrap/sarong… how original… SMH.

I know that these hints are supposed to whip up excitement for the next box, but all they do is annoy me. And if the hint is as boring and same-old, same-old as this one, what’s the point? It will just convince people to cancel or not subscribe. At least it has that effect on me.
