Enchanted Crystal of the Month February Review
First, you'll see a greeting from Adam of Enchanted Crystal. I love these personal notes as they explain behind the scenes details.
Our specimen this month is Lapis Lazuli!
Lapis Lazuli
FYI: This piece is about 3 inches tall.
I just love this stone. First, that incredible blue color! That dreamy shade is only enhanced by the bands of calcite and those charming flecks of metallic pyrite that are so frequently found with this stone. Lapis is made of a bunch of different minerals which makes each piece feel like its own little work of art because each is so different and special. Historically, this stone was cherished by royalty and also used in paints and pigments. It has been said to enhance one's ability to speak their own truth, enhance one's self-knowledge, and boost confidence and creativity.
Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.
Good to Know: These are smaller and about an inch or less long.
Spotted Sodalite
I think sodalite is a really pretty stone. Sure, it isn't exactly flashy, but it's interesting to look at and even more fun to examine against a strong light. These tumbled pieces feature all sorts of interesting color changes and freckles.
Red Calcite
Calcite comes in all sorts of colors but it always has this glassy softness that is really pretty and very specific to the stone. These pieces have a very pretty orange-red hue and are super smooth to hold.
Blue Calcite
Again, here is that pretty softness. These remind me of beautiful pieces of chipped ice!
Verdict: This month's Enchanted Crystal piece was stunningly beautiful. I have a soft spot for lapis and I didn't have a point in my collection, so this was a great delivery month for me. As usual, the little extras were small but charming, and I am excited to have a few more pieces of calcite for my collection.
