Created by renowned Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban, this quarterly subscription box showcases expert-recommended luxury skincare and the latest beauty technologies.
"During the first four weeks of the pandemic, my medical team and I virtually treated 300+ patients while our physical offices were shut down," board-certified dermatologist Dr. Ava explained in a press release. "The pandemic gave me perspective on how I want to reach and help more patients beyond my geographic area."
MYSKINBUDDY™: A revolutionary facial device that utilizes four proven technologies to help achieve a clearer complexion, a brighter and even skin tone, and a more youthful appearance ($300 value).
Aforé CBD Effusive: An antioxidant facial mist that uses water-soluble CBD synergistically with plant extracts and antioxidants to calm and cool the skin, reduce puffiness, erase redness, and make skin glow ($50 value).
Theraderm NuPeel Natural Enzyme Peel: Papaya enzymes and botanical extracts gently remove dead skin cells and reveal glowing, radiant skin in just two minutes. Think of it as an at-home, natural facial peel in a bottle. ($30 value)
Tiege Hanley: This uncomplicated skincare line is designed for busy people. It includes easy-to-use products with step-by-step instructions for eye cream, lip treatment and scrub bar ($35 value).

Actually there are some discrepancies in this description. The My Buddy (if you click on the link) retails for 295 not 300. And the Tiege Hanley is listed here for 35 but on the website it says:
We are delighted to include products by Tiége Hanley in the spring box.
You will receive:
Eye Cream valued at $25.00
Scrub Body Bar valued at $9.50
Lip Treatment valued at $5.50
Level 1 Skincare Voucher for $25.00
All told I get 590 as a corrected total. Still just under the 600 mark but a little higher.

So I’ve added this up three times now I come to $565. She claims it’s an over $600 value, am I missing something? How are they getting at this math?

This sounds like it could be an amazing box! BUT, the inaugural box falls short as the description on their page says $800+ value per box. That’s a big miss for me.

Whoa…I’ve been eyeballing the MySkinBuddy for a while now and was kinda tempted but I’m on product hyper-overload and the box costs $250 per quarter. There’s also an option to buy annual for $850 that comes with a free “Hero Box” worth $900 in case anyone is interested.
Also, the listed contents only comes out to $565. Wonder if that means there will be another item in the box.

Just thought I’d share that the Hero Box contains:
U.SK Under Skin’s Precious Elixir – $149 value
TIZO3 by TIZO Pure Mineral Sunscreen – $41.99 value
One session of TruSculpt Flex – up to $750 value

Not that I was planning to sub to this box (although I am intrigued by it) now I wish I would have told MSA about it when I came across it last month. For some reason I didn’t think they’d post about this box so I didn’t share it. Oops.

FYI – Out of curiousity, I looked at the TruSculpt Flex website and found a page about the box voucher – which said the promotion ended April 1, 2021. If you are tempted to sign up for the annual because of this voucher, you might want to reach out first and check to make sure you can still use it.

I was thinking the same thing too 🙂

Thank you Luna! The TruSculpt session is worth nothing to me so the “$900 bonus” really is under $200.

Thanks Kat! I might splurge and get the annual option. I’m currently subscribed to Beauty Heroes for $450ish a year and this would replace that it my head. I canceled FFF and only have 1 box left with them. I’m in my 40s and am more and more focused on solid skincare products.

Yay! You’re welcome! 🙂

You have helped me in the past as well. Thank you for all you do Luna!

FYI, as it’s not written in the post, this box is $250 or you can buy an annual, which is 4 boxes for $850.
