Your Bijoux Box "Lily of the Valley" April 2021 Review

Our collection this month is called "Lily of the Valley" and it features sterling silver plating and freshwater pearls. These arrived with plenty of time for us to wear these for May Day, a holiday in France where you give lily of the valley flowers to loved ones for good luck and love. What a sweet sentiment! Also, in case you missed it last month, our jewelry now comes in a beautiful sturdy drawer box. I love that these are actually functional and can even be stacked on top of one another as your collection grows!
All of the pieces arrived in their own separate little bag nestled inside the drawer of our jewelry box. These pouches are so cute and super soft making them a great way to protect your jewelry when traveling!

Lily of the Valley Pendant Necklace
This necklace is so delicate looking with the thin silver bar and the teeny tiny pearl accents. While I kind of like that it is straight and hangs nicely vertically, my sister pointed out that it would have been really pretty with a bit of a curve to it and I'm sure that would have been pretty, too! I love the simplicity and elegance of the combination of dainty pearls and textured sterling silver. As usual, our necklace features the signature Your Bijoux Box adjustable slide which allows you to achieve the perfect fit for any neckline.

Lily of the Valley Ring
I just love the texture on the leaf of this ring! It is such a nice juxtaposition to the smooth, shiny pearls on the opposite side. This wrap-around ring again looks so delicate with the dainty pearls and it has proven to be comfortable to wear so far. It is so very delicate looking though, so I think I might reserve this one for special occasions instead of everyday wear (although I would love to wear this every day!). The pearls definitely feel secure, but I also don't want to take any chances on losing one of them because I love this ring so much!

Lily of the Valley Earrings
Our earrings feature the etched leaves in the background of our dainty pearls this time and I think it's such a fun and classy look! I have not figured out exactly how I want to wear these yet; pearls up, pearls down, curving towards my face or curving away from it, so many options, but no matter how I wear them I know they will be such a sweet accent piece!

Headband by Deepa Gurnani - Retail Value $60.00
I have always admired these headbands whenever I see them, and I just love the one I received this month! It is somewhat simple with the colors and shapes of the stones, but of course, there is nothing simple about all of that sparkle! I like that it has a stretchy band so it can fit any size head and the flat area underneath the gems helps it stay in place and it's comfortable to wear without pressing on my temples like some do. While I didn't find this exact headband on the site, I did link to a similar one!
It's a bit much with all of the jewelry, but I love the sparkle!
The Verdict: I loved this gorgeous spring curation from Your Bijoux Box this month and the sentiment behind it! I also appreciate how very different it is from last month's collection, but still just as pretty. It is great to have a nice variety of jewelry with different stones and metals and now we have these gorgeous new boxes to store them all in! There is no listed value for our pieces this month, but considering the bonus headband retails for more than the cost of this box, I think the value is definitely there!
