Enchanted Crystal of the Month April Review
First, you'll see a greeting from Adam of Enchanted Crystal. I love these personal notes as they explain behind-the-scenes details.
Our specimen this month is Wulfenite!
Wulfenite
FYI: This piece is a little under 3 inches long.
Ok, this is going to be more of a collector's sort of specimen, and that is ok with me. While this probably isn't going to be a piece you display on your mantle, it is utterly fascinating. The first thing I noticed was that it was weirdly heavy for its size. The second thing that registered was how the sprinkle-shaped crystals look like glitter in the light! It is one of those effects that is hard to capture in still photos, but it is mesmerizing in person. I think the palette of orange, green, and ocher is endlessly interesting, as are the different tiny shapes and formations on this piece.
Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.
Good to Know: These are smaller and about an inch or less long.
Tiger's Eye
This is one of my favorite stones. If you are into astrology (guilty) it is one that is closely linked to the Leo sign, of which I was born under. It also has this cool effect of looking like magical, glistening wood.
Rose Quartz
This is a favorite stone for so many people because it is closely linked with love and affection. I have always loved the pale pink color and the whispy fogginess inside.
Banded Amethyst
Amethyst is a stone that is associated with royalty and wealth, and even if you aren't into stone meanings it is easy to appreciate the gorgeous gradient of purple.
Verdict: This month's Enchanted Crystal delivered such a cool and unique piece for my collection, along with some little tumbled treasures I can use in stone facials or simply just admire. This is the sort of subscription that sends different stones to each subscriber and sometimes they are display pieces, while other deliveries (like this month) are more of a fascinating collectors sort of variety. I am consistently happy with both!
