I just signed up for ipsy and ipsy plus yesterday buy it won’t let me choose my items. Does anyone know why?

The reason you don’t get to choose is because the first ipsy bag you get is like an intro bag. So they pick what goes in there. After this first bag the 22ish each month you will get to pick from id say about 20 items for your bag. Best advice, keep updating your profile so you get things you actually will use.

The purple cabbage serum is so good, I cannot stop using it.
Has anyone else been having issues with their Ipsy bags showing up super late or not at all? I never received my April bag, and of course, it was the first bag in a while that I was really excited about, I had chosen some add ons I was really looking forward to. By the time it had been long enough that Ipsy actually does anything about bags not showing up, they were out of most of the products that were in my bag and they said they would send good replacements but when I got the replacement bag, there were no replacements in it at all, only three items were in the bag. It was really odd, customer service was really frustrating too, it took a lot of effort on my part to get ahold of someone that didn’t just answer my questions generically, and actually looked into what might have happened. I know the mail service has been slow and struggling but I still haven’t gotten that bag and I was really disappointed by the amount of time I had to spend trying to get someone to understand what was happening. Sorry, that was a lot, I’m really curious if anyone has had a similar experience?

Yes, a lot of people are experiencing shipping issues with their bags. (Shop/pop-up/flash/etc sales seem to be shipping just fine though.)

Ya the first Glam Bag X I was so excited to receive from them but they ran out and kept putting me off and giving hope it would come! I was super stoked but the following month they gave my money back and cancelled! I was so bummed and pissed off. I don’t really trust them anymore. Luckily I still have fabfitfun and I couldn’t be happier!! I will probably just skip Ipsy this month! The products do not look that exciting to me! I got a lot of Add ons by fabfitfun too!! They are Truly Awesome!! Wish they came more often like Ipsy!!!

The babelash eye lash stuff from ipsy gave me macular edema and vision loss. Don’t use it!!

Do you mean the Babe lash lash serum? It’s not Ipsys fault. Serums affect people differently. Sorry that was your experience but it’s not the usual case

I would like the cleansers, cabbage serum, and brushes. I hope to see more makeup options, but seeing as I got two eyeshadow palettes in April, I would like some lip color stuff. I love the Ciate London brand, so the Setting spray would be nice to have. A quick backup when my May Glam Bag X Morphe spray runs out. Not too fond of eyeliner or that pepper balm. Somewhat curious about
that hair cream though.

I love skincare, so this one is a good one for me! If I am honest though, I really only want my Ipsy X 4 times a year. I think it’s really unfair that you can’t even skip one month of Plus or the Reg Glam Bag and still receive X. I don’t like small samples, so I don’t want the regular bag, but forcing me into 28 full size products every three months is a bit excessive. Who needs all that? Eventually I will have so much product that I will have no choice but to cancel, because I won’t be able to use it all before it goes bad. It bums me out. We should at least be able to skip a box in between.

Does it have a nice fragrance to it? Also, do you think it will work for fine hair without making it too oily and weighed down? I would love to find a product that conditioned my hair, especially the ends and has a nice fragrance to it. Thanks!

May’s bag was kinda of meh. I was on a roll for awhile with good bags and now they are dropping off again. I also already got that purple cabbage serum in April’s bag. I would like the ViseArt palette and the Thrive eye primer but my luck hasn’t been great lately. I got the Shaina B Miami brushes in both April and May so I’ll probably get that set too. I’m a little sad my April and May Ipsy GBP and BC were both so bad because after June I have to cancel due to financial issues. I was going to cancel this month instead but my husband told me to wait since next month is Luxe. I really hope I get an amazing bag in June. I want to go out with a bang. Plus it’s incentive to come back if or when I can afford it in the future.

You get to pick three. The problem last months for me was the choices were not good so it became of the things I don’t want which do I not want least. Hoping this month will be better.

I have that Christoph Robin hair balm and it’s worth the price of the box honestly. With the viseart pallet and the thrive, that would be a great box.

What does the hair balm do? I love hair products that help my very long, heat styled, colored hair stay looking happy and healthy. I have one of these that I hadn’t opened because I wasn’t sure if it would be for me and it’s full size. As far as styling, my hair is long and straight so I just blow dry it and sometimes flat iron after. I don’t want to swap something I would have loved and I don’t want to open and waste a full size to find out I hate it. Lol!

I just got my first haircut since 2019 so I had very long straight fully highlighted hair and my ends were dry and frizzy. I got the Christophe Robin full-size in the Allure box and am half way through it. I would put the CR on my ends when dry and it would smooth them down. I’m neutral on the scent. I put it on when my hair was damp and I didn’t feel like it performed as well as other products when I blow dried or heat styled. I’ve used it when I air dried and still didn’t see any difference from when I didn’t use it. I tried using it as detangler and leave in conditioner, but the amount I had to use to detangle my ends ended up weighing my hair down. It didn’t give me the amount of shine as other products. All in all, I didn’t hate it, but I didn’t see it performing as well or better than products that I already use. Seems like it works great some people and just okay for others, may you be in the first category 🙂

These are the best spoilers I’ve seen in ages. The only things I would be really disappointed to receive are the Ciate setting spray and BFF cleanser.

Skipping ipsy for a while. My GB still hasn’t shipped, it’s always late, sometimes arriving in the next month, and there’s just nothing I’m excited about for June. Not even in the PopUp sale today. I guess I have too much to go through, but I was hoping for some SR to stock up on.

I HATE that the points shop items show up the following month and they can/do send you duplicates! What’s the point if I’m going to be sent it anyway. It would make much more sense to have them in later months so if you want a second one it’s your choice.

Agreed. I used my points back in early april to get a tube of lip mask. They never sent it in my april bag and then in May I got it as a $3 add on to my ultimate/X box.. The one I used my points to get still hasn’t been sent.. This happened with an add on set too where I bought SR Luna oil with Pacifica crystal face masks. They sent me a replacement for the face mask and told I didn’t get the Pacifica bc it was out of stock. But then I saw the face masks in their next add on sale. IDK what is going on with them anymore but it’s getting old.

I am interested in the Viseart palette as well! Do you know if it would only be offered to glam bag plus Ipsy members or would regular glam bag Ipsy members have a shot at getting it as well? I just signed up again in May after a couple years off of Ipsy, and there wasn’t a glam bag plus option when I used to be subscribed. Just wondering if there’s a chance I could get it (99% unlikely but still curious!) I’d also be interested in that serum, or the murad. We will see what o get!

I have the Serumkind and really like it! It is more viscous and emollient than a typical serum. I am hoping to get a back up!

The Serumkind Purple Cabbage Drop serum looks vry nice, as well as the Thrive Causemetics Eye Primer!! Could always use a setting spray and lip gloss/balm…The palette is OK. Nothing special, but I don’t dislike it either. Looks good for everyday wear for me. The brushes are cute, and even though I have enough brushes, wouldn’t mind those. Does anyone have any info about the quality/brand of brushes??

Oh, most likely and then not very many people would get it like the Maelle blush palette that many people wanted but didn’t get in their bags a couple of months ago.

That was me. I wanted that blush palette so bad and of course I hardly saw anyone actually got it. They shouldn’t even be spoiling items that they have such low stock on. But they do. I think I may skip this round. I guess it depends on the next spoilers. Hopefully there will be more.
