There's a Subscription For That is a new series spotlighting subscriptions the team at My Subscription Addiction finds interesting and is excited to share with readers.

I scream, you scream, we all scream for… cheese? While unconventional, here at MSA, that’s always been our motto. And if you tend to agree that nothing beats the ooey gooey goodness of cheesy cheese, you’ll likely be thrilled to hear that there’s a subscription for that.

Curdbox is a monthly cheese subscription that will keep you in dairy-fueled bliss. Each box is built around a different theme (like Sandwich Goals, Sugar Mama, and Sweet & Spicy) and delivers a cheese and pairing experience that will tickle your tastebuds.

Each Box Contains

  • 3 artisan cheeses totaling .75 pounds
  • 3 gourmet food pairings
  • a Spotify playlist to enjoy while you nosh
  • a new edition of the “Curdcast Podcast”
  • info about the cheeses in your shipment

Each shipment contains enough cheese to feed two people for dinner or 6-8 for snacking. Curdbox costs $49.95 per month plus shipping, and you can skip or cancel anytime.

Curdbox has been all the buzz around our offices lately, but if you’d like to explore additional ways to put your cheese purchases on autopilot, there are some other subscriptions to consider. Honorable mentions go to The Gourmet Cheese of the Month Club, one of the first ever cheese subscriptions, and Wine Down Box, which sends both cheese and wine. If you’d like to do a full deep dive into the world of cheese of the month clubs, make sure to check out our list of 20 Best Cheese of the Month Clubs and Subscriptions.

What do you think of Curdbox? Would you sign up for a subscription? Let us know in the comments.

Amy

One of the local cheesemongers in my town does their own monthly cheese box. See if there’s anything in your area.

xtine

Is ther a vegetarian option for the pairings?

Hi xtine! There doesn’t appear to be any customization option for the pairings; however, it might be worth reaching out to Curdbox customer support to see if they can accommodate you.

Funny you should ask! We are working right now on a box that will be vegetarian and gluten and nut-free!

This sounds great, but I have to put in a vote for Gourmet Cheese of the Month Club as well. The range of cheeses they send is amazing, and it’s great if you just want the cheese — it’s around the same price for twice as much cheese, but without the pairings.

Thanks for the recommendation, Tolin!

I have zero interest in the podcast or playlist fillers…but the CHEESE – YES PLEASE. This sounds amazing. Pricy, but YUM.
