There’s a Subscription for That: Farm Fresh Peaches

There's a Subscription For That is a new series spotlighting subscriptions the team at My Subscription Addiction finds interesting and is excited to share with readers.

If you ask us, summer isn’t summer without peaches. Whether it’s a warm slice of peach pie on the 4th of July, a thick layer of peach preserves on toast on a sunny Sunday morning, or a towering bowlful of freshly cut fruit set out on a picnic blanket, peaches are a summertime staple. If you’re lucky enough to live in a peach-growing state, you’re probably counting down the days until the roadside stands are open for business. But you don’t have to live down the road from an orchard to enjoy farm fresh peaches all throughout this year’s harvest season. Want peaches that will come to you? There’s a subscription for that.

The Peach Truck sends Georgia peaches directly to your front door. They work with local farmers to pick fruit at just the right moment and get it into your hands within hours of it leaving the tree. When you sign up for a home delivery subscription, you’ll receive shipments of peaches throughout the summer. Pre-orders are being accepted now for the 2021 harvest season.

The Details

  • A "Full Season Subscription" includes 8 shipments and costs $349.00.
  • Peaches are shipped each week: June 7th - July 26th.
  • Subscriptions include a bonus shipment of three jams.
  • Each box contains 13 peaches.
  • Subscriptions are flexible and shipments can be held for a week if you'll be out of town.
  • Shipping is free to most states. For deliveries to ID, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OR, SD, UT, WA, and WY, the shipping fee is $99.00 (which comes out to about $12.38 per delivery). The Peach Truck does not ship to CA, AZ, HI, or AK.

Live in the Eastern Seaboard? You might also be able to pick up peaches locally. The 2021 Peach Truck Tour is scheduled to visit 25 states and makes stops as far north as New Hampshire and all the way west to Texas. Pre-orders for 25 pound boxes of peaches are welcome, and you can view the map of truck stops here.

What do you think of The Peach Truck? Would you sign up for a subscription? Let us know in the comments.

I also ordered a 25 lb. box since the tour is coming through my city. The single box is a great price. I had never heard of this and I am psyched!

The price is expensive but I entertained the possibility of ordering until I read they DON’T ship to CA.

I was thinking it is pretty pricey as well. I understand that prices have increased since the pandemic but this is astronomical.

I do the blueberry truck which delivers all over Florida. On my way now to pick up my last order of 5# organic fresh picked blueberries – this time going to the farm.

I clicked on this hoping it was for The Peach Truck! I live in Nashville and can go grab a bag from several spots less than 10 minutes away whenever I feel like it. You’d have to live off peaches and have a good source to want the sub though, I usually grab 2-3 bags during the season from them and they’re always amazing, but that a big commitment for the full season. If you checkout their site, though, you can buy order on demand.

I’m so glad to hear you’ve had a good experience with The Peach Truck, Janelle! The truck tour stops near my house, and I couldn’t resist. I bought a 25# box. I seriously can not wait. 🙂

I’m actually willing to pay for this but they won’t even ship to HI. Ugh.
