I posted all the spoilers but for some reason that post never showed up. Anyway, they’re on the Allure site.

I agree with you. That fake product has left me feeling not that good about Allure and it was my fav sub. I wonder what’s going on with Allure. Something is up.

So here’s another indicator all is not well at Allure. I emailed to skip the July box, for obvious reasons, and said I hoped August would be better as it was the last one in my current subscription. They responded to confirm my skip request and offered to take my subscription off auto-renew. I didnt even ask (it was on an expired credit card anyway;-) – they offered. Every other subscription I have had you have to jump through about six hoops to cancel, and yet they straight up suggested I take it off auto-renew. Hmmmmm.

Wait, you’re suspicious because they were accommodating? They did what you wanted and offered a solution that would be beneficial to you so that makes them sketchy?

It’s the end of the month and we have only seen 3 spoilers to date. I don’t understand what is going on. Is this how ALLURE will be from now on? Have I somehow missed the last 2 spoilers? It makes a difference because depending on last 2 items it will decide if I cancel July or not. Without those spoilers I am for sure cancelling.

This is what I got in my email about a week ago! “Spoiler alert/ July sneak peak: Get ready for next month’s picks, including top products from Ciaté London, La Roche Posay, Winky Lux (eyebrows pencil), and Able Skincare!”

Ugh. No wonder they didn’t do any more spoilers. After Acure, La Roche Posay is the most over-utilized and underwhelming box item out there – and a eyebrow pencil, like everyone can use the same shade? One hyperinflated item and five of the cheapest generic box items nobody wants. This box is looking to be the biggest pile of crap ever to reach my mailbox.

I am guessing based upon the last few months, the 6th item will be a single use mask, and it will be a varient item based upon user history.

What did they say was in the box @Jeanette??

I called them yesterday to find out and there is NOTHING exciting in this box. I skipped again, and passed on feedback about how lackluster the recent boxes have been.

You haven’t missed the last few spoilers because Allure hasn’t released them. I haven’t found them on any website, not just MSA. There has’t been a spoiler since June 3, which is just ridiculous. I have until July 2 to skip through Amazon, and by then Amazon should have posted the full contents of their box. But I am definitely leaning towards skipping. The over-inflated, fake luxe Able moisturizer is such a turnoff.

Allure is getting VERY hit and miss and the July box is shaping up to be a real dud so far.
Item #1 – Ciate London Pallette – got one already in the past year and it was not impressive at all.
Item #2 – Able skincare moisturizer – meh. Not that exciting.
Item #3 – Acure Jelly Mask – really? This is like a $12 item and I,,m pretty sick of Acure samples. They are the generic cheap box option that no-one truly likes.

I get the impression that they are boosting the “value” of the box with one large ticket item (that’s usually an obscure brand of questionable value) and then just filling the box with random cheap junk. “Hey, it’s worth $150+ !!” – yes, but it’s still only of value if you include items people want.

I also have an issue with this “new subscribers get this, but if we’ve already got your money you’re getting this lesser box” plan they now have. I always seem to end up with the cheapest of the possible “alternate options”, and I do wonder if anyone actually gets the better options, other than the influencers who promote it.

When the change to the monthly boxes started, they started strong, and I was excited, but they are definitely struggling now…and not sure if I will renew. I’m really hoping there will be a couple more of redeeming items in the box, because so far this selection is about as poor as I’ve seen so far.

Its the summer … can we please get a self tanner or a face tanner ? or a Blush (pink) ? …. I don’t so many exfoliators and vitamic C’s. You know what would be fantastic a full size SPF! maybe EltaMD.

I agree with no Vit-C but not the self tanner, not really ok for everyone to get a tanner and cant use it. They’ve done that in the past and it kinda isnt cool for their clientele of color who ya know, dont need it! ::heavy eye roll::

I already tried this mask and I was not impressed. I think I will skip July and I’m actually happy about it since I can work through my stash without accumulating more products.

Hmm. I got this sample in one of the Whole Foods bags. It’s super small, 2/3 uses at most. And I don’t have sensitive skin, and this is literally the only skincare product I have ever tried that irritated my face. It left a red, sore patch on my cheek. (I threw away the mask from the same brand unopened after reading that so many people had a bad reaction to it.) I also don’t want or need yet another neutral/brown eyeshadow palate, so I’ll probably skip.

Thanks for sharing this information. I will look at the ingredients very carefully now to see what’s up. I have some sensitivity so I am now alerted thanks to you to really research the ingredients in case I chose to get this box. Waiting on spoiler # 4 and 5.

Hi Beth Ellen and all,
So I have been really checking this mask out. There are 2 jar colors of the same mask. This exact color on iHerb has over 20 reviews and good ratings. Then I checked out this mask but it comes in a white jar. This one has complaints from hate the smell to chemical burn. I don’t know how much Vit C is in this product but each jars ingredients are the same except the pink color has more ingredients. I can’t find anything (just reading the ingredients) that sounds like its bad.

If anyone has more information on this product please share. I can see myself using a Vit C mask, and the pink and white jar and color of product seems to make a difference in people’s reaction or NO reaction just smooth skin. The pink color makes it more likely I would try it. Any thoughts? Please?

MSA seems to want you to click through multiple pages on their site anymore… probably so they can generate extra ad revenue. They’ve really gone downhill the last few months anyway.

Is this the correct size? On another site it shows it as 30ml.

My guess is we are just getting a sample. If this size is correct then it is only @$5 RV.
