I’m coming back to this thread two months later just to say that this was a GREAT box. (Unfortunately, July and August can’t compare.) I really liked the Piper Wai deodorant and am planning to buy more. The highlighter is better than expected, I never would have bought a liquid highlighter, and I use it regularly. I like the conditioner – although the paper container is unfortunate; it got too wet and fell apart and the inside plastic bottle doesn’t stand up on its own, but I’m making it work – almost used up. The Naobay cleanser is now a favorite of mine. And the serum, although tiny, goes a long way and I was glad to try it – not sure if it works wonders. If Glossybox would just put out a box this good every month, and if they fixed their order fulfillment, shipping and customer service issues, I would re-subscribe.

I’m happy with everything except for the highlighter. I don’t do liquid highlight. The red bottle is probably a serum which I’m cool with! Everything else is very useful.

I gave up on getting my May box. Customer service is abhorrent.

GB charged me for my May box on May 1. I still have not received it. In response to my inquiries they sent me a DHL tracking number saying my box was mailed on 5/27. DHL online and by telephone said the number is untrackable. GB keeps insisting it was mailed however that is not reflected in my account. When I asked why they sent me this:

Hello Chris,

Thank you for getting in touch about your order.

Unfortunately I am not able to tell you why this is not showing up under your account as I also do not know the answer. Because of the customer protection laws we have in place I am not able to access your account to try to resolve the issue.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Kind regards,
Elizabeth

Worst customer service ever!

Chris- Please dispute the charge with your credit card company and let the corporations duke it out. I had an issue with another beauty box years ago and my credit card company (Bank of America) got the charge reversed.

It sounds like you’ve done enough. The thing that really bugs me is that you were told “Because of the customer protection laws we have in place I am not able to access your account to try to resolve the issue.” YOU are the consumer. THEY are the merchant. Who is being protected here?

“If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.” Well, they can reverse the charge since you haven’t received anything. That would help.

if your credit card cannot assist (which I doubt, but it could happen) call again and demand to speak to a supervisor. Go to their Facebook and Instagram pages and tell your story- also PM them on FB. Be the squeaky wheel. You’re going to cost them money because a lot of people (like me) will read your story and choose not to do business with Glossybox. Horror stories from disgruntled customers do affect their bottom line. I’m convinced that the bad reviews that Causebox received during their Winter/Holiday 2019 shipping uber-snafu is one of the reasons they changed their name.

So many boxes make major efforts to get new subscribers and treat their current subscribers like crap. It’s time for the Beauty Addicts of the World to rise up and strike back.

Please post when you’ve resolved this. Best of luck.

I do want to note that I am on the pre-price hike one year Allure subscription, and, although there has been a few boxes I didn’t like and skipped, Allure’s fulfillment company CS has been a pleasure to deal with on the phone and prompt in responding to emails. I also got a 3 month Kinder sub with a free extra box and they are very nice as well.

And finally, Glossybox, as far as I’m concerned, you’re cancelled.

If there is anything else they can do? Oh, ho, I don’t think MSA will let me post what I think they can do!

Lol! OMG, this would seriously be hilarious if it wasn’t so damn frustrating! Wow….I cannot believe they answered w/that. 😮 I mean would it have even mattered if they hadn’t??

Blah.

Bummed I’m locked in for this month since I had bought a prepaid on sale. Only thing of use is the cleanser and the conditioner maybe.

And ugly pink box not anything pretty or fun. Note to self: never buy a prepaid glossybox it’s a trap
