Gwynnie Bee is a clothing rental subscription service that formerly catered to plus sizes only, but is now far more inclusive offering sizes 0-32! Gwynnie Bee allows you to select items you like that are put in a virtual closet. The chosen items in your virtual closet are sent to you at random, but you can select priority pieces to be sent to you first. Since I started using the service, I can say I always have a lot of fun with this box!
Gwynnie Bee also has a marketplace on their site where you can buy steeply discounted used rental pieces and brand new accessories, underwear, and workout gear as well!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Gwynnie Bee June 2021 Review
This is a review of the three items at a time for $95/month:
Emerald Geo Print Wrap Dress by Alexia Admor, Size 3x — Cost to Keep $71.00
I immediately knew this retro-inspired geometrical print number was a must closet dress at first glance! The print and colors are gorgeous, but the fabric feels satin-like, yet has ample stretch. I generally avoid genuine wrap dresses because they are so difficult to get on, but this one fits like a dream. I did some simple styling by pairing this with some plain black flats, clear red acrylic hoops, and a pair of my favorite cat eyes from Wherelight.com. This could easily translate to the fall with tights, booties, a beret, and a cozy thick knit coatigan!
Navy and Green Stripe Dress by London Times, Size 20w — Cost to Keep $62.50
London Times is one of my favorite brands, so I was eager to try this dress this month! The cut and style reminds me of something from the 80s. I am envisioning Blair from the Facts of Life wearing this in later seasons with her permed mullet to perfection. The navy and green stripes almost look like a zebra print as well, which appealed to me as well. The fabric has loads of stretch and is incredibly comfortable to wear! I styled this piece how I would have worn it when I worked in an office with comfortable black flats and my favorite green and white dice earrings. This would also look great in the summer with some embellished sandals and oversized vintage-inspired sunglasses. This is a versatile piece and could also be worn in the cooler weather months with fishnets, platform open-toed wedges, and a faux leather biker jacket for a night out on the town. For a cozier look, pair this with thick opaque tights, ankle booties, large statement earrings, and a faux fur-trimmed mid-length coat for extra flair!
Leopard Intarsia Sweater by Eloquii, Size 22/24 — Cost to Keep $63.00
I love that Gwynnie Bee is offering more Eloquii pieces! If you weren't aware, Eloquii is one of my favorite plus-size brands out there far and away. The styles they offer are retro meets modern with fantastic cuts and bold colors and prints. Their pieces are adventurous and eccentric, wild yet classic and chic-- they are just everything. I actually remember seeing this sweater on the Eloquii site when it first came out along with the matching skirt! I, sadly, didn't receive the skirt, but I made do and did two separate stylings of this sweater for yinz!
The first styling is something I would wear if I were to go to an art museum or to see a band play. I wanted this outfit to scream fun, so I styled it with clear red acrylic hoops, a red metallic mini skirt, white and black creeper shoes, and a pair of Elton John-inspired glasses from Wherelight.com! Go big or go home, am I right?
The second styling is a bit more casual with dark denim jeans and golden yellow mules. This is something I would wear at home or for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. This is such a versatile piece-- it certainly could become a wardrobe staple. The fabric is on the thicker side, but you could easily wear it from Fall through Springtime. This would be great for the office too with a black pencil skirt or wide-leg trousers. The options are endless with this gorgeous sweater!
Verdict:
This month, Gwynnie Bee came through with an eclectic sampling of prints! Whether you love stripes, geo, or animal prints-- this month covered all the bases. I was pleased to get a sweater as well as dresses-- it was a fun way to mix things up. I love that I can get brands I love like Eloquii and London Times, but also ones I am less familiar with like Alexia Admor. That is the beauty of a service like Gwynnie Bee-- you are able to sample brands and different styles alike to see what appeals to you most!
I love using Gwynnie Bee as a rental service, but were you aware that they offer a lot of the items at a deep discount for purchase? You can buy rental pieces, but they also have a members-only outlet where you can purchase items at even deeper discounts as well. I also love their frequent at-home items sales as well as their points system that can provide you even more discounts! There are just so many ways to save with Gwynnie Bee! I am so excited to see what I get next month to try out, aren't you?
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! All three pieces are available to rent.

Value Breakdown: Gwynnie Bee’s costs range depending on your subscription and how many items you are sent at a time. I have the $95.00 three-item-at-a-time plan. This includes free shipping and returns. I can get as many pieces as I like monthly, as long as I return each item first. I got three items this month. The three items total up to $196.50, which is $101.50 more than my monthly plan! That is a heck of a savings! However, imagine the even greater value had I sent these pieces back sooner and received additional pieces!
