2019 New Crush California Rosé – Retail Value $24.00
New Crush Rosé is a delicious wine with aromas of fresh strawberries, watermelon, pomegranate, and citrus. On the palate, the berries give an upfront juiciness. A crisp, fresh finish makes it a great wine for warm weather days.
I mean... I have yet to meet a rosé I don't like. They are just so darn drinkable. This bottle tastes exactly like you expect a rosé to taste, with fun notes of pink and red fruits combined with a little tart finish. I prefer to chill this sort of wine but it isn't bad at room temp either. And if you add in some frozen fruit as ice cubes? Heaven.
2018 Tines California Merlot – Retail Value $24.00
Tines Merlot is well balanced and versatile. Pleasant notes of dried figs, black currants and cinnamon.
I don't love a merlot and this bottle was just ok. It does have a very cinnamon sort of vibe which made me feel like I might have enjoyed it more in the fall.
Laritzy Athena Palette – Retail Value $48.00
This is an eye palette, but I think a lot of these shades would work as highlighters or even blushes too. It is very soft and cute for spring and summer, and I found the formulas to be smooth and with enough pigment to please (aside from Calypso!). I also appreciate the oversized pans and the mix of shimmer, matte, and satin finishes.
Top to bottom: Atlas, Fate, Calypso, Hero, Goddess, and Odyssey
Top to bottom: Justice, Ares, and Nox.
Zaxie by Stefanie Taylor Gold Medallion Earrings - Listed Value $26.00
I haven't really been wearing more elaborate earrings lately, and I didn't really wear any at all last year. Well, unless they were tiny little hoops or studs. Something about these feels very summer and very fun. There is a lot of movement and the medallions catch the light in really pretty ways. They also make a soft tinkling sound that I weirdly enjoy!
Cute!
Zaxie by Stefanie Taylor Beach Please Sunglasses Case - Listed Value $24.00
The majority of my sunglasses end their short lives crushed under my butt in my car or scratched in the bottom of my purse. This is why I never buy nice ones! A cute case like this is bound to help me be more mindful, right? And, since there is literally zero chance of me seeing a beach this summer, I find the 'Beach, please" on the front hilarious in an ironic sort of way.
Shiraleah Clutch - Listed Value $16.00
I didn't exactly love this clutch because it just felt a little flimsy to me and seems a weird size kind of between a clutch and a makeup bag. I could still see this being a cute little accessory for a summery party and I will probably regift it to someone in my life who is crazier about casual clutches.
Lark Fine Foods Cookies, 3.2 oz - Retail Value $4.00
These were so yummy! I am a huge fan of shortbread-style cookies and these had that buttery taste and a great snap that was very satisfying. Add in chocolate pearls and a hint of sea salt and I am hooked. This box didn't stand a chance.
The Verdict: Vine Oh! box is one of those boxes that feels like it could be a treat-yourself moment or a great box for smaller birthday or hostess gifts. Sure, not everything is going to be a home run for every single person but I always feel like there is enough inside for a fun unboxing experience and a good value too. I liked this assortment for summer especially. The palette is pink and fun, the earrings are totally wearable, and the cheeky sunglasses case will totally be put to good use. I ate the cookies in a heartbeat and the clutch will be a little gift for a friend. All in all, this is a cute box that I always seem to enjoy.
