Got the box and am super disappointed with how tiny everything is. 😣 They keep sending out travel sized items and calling them full-size. Not impressed since the price increase.

I would really rather the “new members will get this” pitches be a SEPARATE post, unrelated to the description of what is in existing member boxes. Am I the only one?
I dislike having to scroll through pictures and descriptions that have nothing to do with me before I get to what I want to see.
I’m sure people considering subbing to allure appreciate the new member info… but there’s just no reason for these 2 things to be in one post, imo.

So freaking tired of the resurfacing products. Vit C products and resurfacing products repeated over and over again. Every single dang month enough already, enough or I’m canceling the box.

OMG…I am SO glad you guys shared this post because I have been feeling the SAME WAY.
I loved the box for the first few months, despite noticing the redundancy with the Vit C, but now after some other things have begun to irk me including the lack of balance between the ratio of makeup/skincare/haircare/etc received monthly, it has begun to perturb me further.
I just received my first box from IPSY and I gotta say, I’m blown away. Hopefully will continue to be that way but who knows…it may just be a honeymoon phase thing.

UGH!!!! Why are the new member gifts always better than the items in the box each month now? This sub used to be sooooooo much better. I love Beach Walk!! Ah well. I will try a few more times and can always cancel although it is still hard to!!! ;o)

111Skin is okay, but horribly overpriced. They also have a bad habit of having all their subscription box items made in China, claiming they just don’t have the capacity in their European facilities. They say that the ingredients are all the same, though.

I locked in at the old price for an annual – this is the first box I’ve skipped. Really not into the Able Skincare and that Ciate palette is NOT a good color for me (unless I’m costuming as a yellow fever victim or something).

I’m kind of annoyed at how hard they’re hustling for new subs. I suspect it’s because they know that a lot of us will be ending our subscriptions this year when they run out.

Is it just me, or are there only 3 full sized products? It clearly says “get 13 products – including 4 full size – when you sign up today” but the only full size I see are the ciate palette, the brow pencil, and the able moisturizer?

July is my last prepaid box on my annual membership I opted into with the old, lower pricing. I will not be renewing at the higher price. This used to be my ride-or-die, always fabulous, never-cancel sub box. Sadly, I’m no longer a fan. Bye, Allure. It was fun while it lasted.

SAME for 10.50 a month it was a GREAT deal. But with how much it went up its just not worth it for me. Love this box for the old price. Well on the bright side now I’m saving money, and i just buy what I NEED at sephora or ultra. Instead of over stocking on product that will expire.

My original plan was to cancel my year automatic and convert to monthly. I was going to put it on hold until a box came out that I wanted. I was thinking I could still retain my member history so I could get an occasional month without a repeat variation they have been doing. The last couple of months, I know that I got the mask received. It just irritates me that they are pawning off old items as the 6th item for new or renewing members. Plus, the new member gifts are often better than possible repeat variation. My last month is August. I got my confirmation email today. No mention of a better rate for existing members.

Totally agree. Allure was my first sub box I tried and my favorite. No longer. They promised much better boxes, and they have been so disappointing. I thought maybe I just didn’t remember, but I still have the little “flyers” that come in the boxes. I went back and look at the old ones from several years ago. Much better product, bigger sizes, more product. I’ll miss you, Allure, but Ipsy Plus is my new favorite. 5 items, and I get to choose 3 of them!!! Makes me so happy.

Ugh I do not like the eyeshadow at all. It’s like something you get at Walgreens. I give all these palettes to my 6 year old daughter to use for play.

Well I got a variation last month that I had already gotten (all three of the choices I had gotten before) so I guess it will be a surprise this month to see if I get a repeat shampoo and conditioner… this is getting ridiculous

The older version boxes were way better. This is how you lose subscribers. So sick of glittered bombed eyeshadows (which companies probably donate cause no one is buying them) and resurfacing products.

I’m really looking forward to this box. But do you have any idea what size the new member gift Beach Walk perfume is? A friend of mine has been thinking about signing on to this box and if the perfume is going to be bigger than a tiny sample then this will do it for her!

For anyone who came to this post for spoilers, according to the Allure website, existing subscribers will receive the following:
• Ciaté London Trend Edit Palette: Bronzed (full size)
• Able Skincare Retexturing & Resurfacing Duo Moisturiser (full size)
• Winky Lux Uni-Brow Universal Eyebrow Pencil (full size)
• Acure Brightening Vitamin C Jelly Mask
• La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum
• NatureLab Tokyo Perfect Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner duo
Another site says that the NatureLab duo might be an alt item and that some subscribers may get Crabtree & Evelyn Spiced Honey Bath Syrup or Crabtree & Evelyn Evelyn Rose Luscious Shower Milk, and this seems to be supported when you click into “take a look” on the Allure site, even though these items aren’t pictured on the main page.
According to the Allure website, new subscriber gifts will be COMPLETELY different than what’s listed above:
• Lancôme Lash Idôle Mascara
• Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
• Giorgio Armani Lip Maestro
• Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado
• Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium

This appears to be a bundle, so I’m assuming new subscribers will get all of these items.
The site that says that existing subscribers may not all receive the NatureLab says that all NEW subscribers WILL receive the NatureLab—they will NOT have an alt for that product.

So regular subscribers are getting: full-size Ciate palette, sample size Acure Brightening Vitamin C Jelly Mask, the full-size Able Skincare Retexturing and Resurfacing Duo Moisturizer and the sample La Roche-Posay Hyalu B5 Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Amazon says a sample Crabtree & Evelyn product plus a full size winkey lux eyebrow pencil. Looks pretty good to me 🙂

Agree. And just wait until all the annual subscriptions expire at the old price. Allure will lose a lot more members. Many people are fed up with this box at the new price. Each month is hit or miss for me, and this one is a total miss; I skipped through Amazon. And I’ll be skipping each month Allure includes a fake prestige brand of inflated RV, and acts like they’re giving their members something really special.

Allure’s website now shows exactly what new and current subscribers will get, including variations. It’s very clear on their site.
There is no ‘choice’ for the Crabtree & Evelyn item–this is an error. It’s the variation for current subscribers. New subscribers will get the NatureLab Tokyo products.
There is no Brow Gal pencil for new subscribers. Both new and current get Winky Lux brow pencils.
Allure’s website uses the term ‘renewing’ instead of current subscribers, but the meaning is for those who are currently subscribed.
The Ciate palette in Bronze is for both new and current subscribers. There is no variant as previously reported.

I think this post is worded incorrectly. If you click the link at the beginning of the post for July 2021 Allure Beauty Box, you can see what current members are receiving. It looks to me like that last item is a variation (Shampoo & Conditioner or one of the bath products), and that Allure will choose. I received the shampoo and the conditioner in the past, so would assume I would receive one of the bath items.
Not excited for this box, but I am tempted to just get it as the boxes seem to be getting worse monthly, and my annual is going to last forever. Would like just to get it over with…..

I’d rather get the NatureLab products, but since I got them in a previous box, I won’t.
Between all these random variations and the price increase, I will not be renewing my subscription.

I just called Allure rather than waiting for an email response and learned that there is no choice option. The CS rep explained that there are variations, depending on whether you are a new member or a renewing member. From what she could see in her system the Nature lab shampoo and conditioner will be in new member boxes, as well as select/random renewing members boxes. Renewing members who don’t receive the nature lab duo will receive one of the Crabtree & Evelyn items listed.
