Our specimen this month is Hemimorphite!

Hemimorphite
FYI: This piece is a little under 2 inches long.
I tend to like little pieces like this that feature a gorgeous crystal sprouting out of a less than stunning base material. It shows how interesting crystal growth really is! These white crystals are really pretty in person and the way they collect light and twinkle isn't something that can be captured in a still shot. This specimen is on the smaller side, but it makes up for that by being endlessly interesting to look at, especially in bright light!
Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well.
Good to Know: These are smaller and about an inch or less long.

Peacock Ore
Peacock ore is one of my favorite minerals because, well, it obviously features so many metallic colors! It is also one of those minerals that is a lot heavier than it looks, which makes them fun to hold. Peacock ore is usually heat-treated to enhance its bold colors.

Matchstick Quartz
I also adore matchstick quartz because it has fond childhood memories for me. We always called these little pieces "fairy teeth!"
Verdict: This month's Enchanted Crystal was small but mighty! It is one of those pieces you could easily leave out, tucked next to a picture frame or on top of your coffee table books and guests would be unable to resist picking it up. It is also a mineral I didn't already have in my collection which is always a plus. As usual, the bonus minerals were the icing on the cake.
